Description

Have desert island fantasies? If you’re in Alaska, Jack Bay Campground’s the next best thing. With just a few sites for primitive tenting, you can make yourself at home here and play survivalist, too. While part of the campground’s on a bona-fide island, if you feel more secure on the mainland within heavily-forested Jack Bay State Marine Park, there’s limited camping available there, too. With fishing, kayaking, and wildlife-viewing within easy reach, you can pretend you’re Robinson Crusoe or just enjoy that for the moment, the surrounding view is all yours.
