Hope is a small historic mining town that has evolved into a outdoor recreation wonderland. With multiple guided and non guided activities in the area, it's a perfect base to explore Alaska's famous Kenai Pensiula. We provide two basic bikes to explore Hope. Town is about a 3 minute drive, a 10 minute bike ride or a 20 minute walk. There is a bar, cafes, to-go food and coffee shops in town although this season I cannot confirm everywhere is open - please bring some food just in case.

The Bus area is located on the front part of our property with a cabin near by that is also for rent. Our house is at the back of the property. We are in a local Alaskan neighborhood where you will most likely run into our neighbors - everyone is very friendly and always up for a chat so please enjoy being apart of our small community! There are only 7 houses on our street, which is a dead end, so there is no through traffic. There are also no fences in our street so everyone’s dog runs around but they are all friendly and always up for pats and dog treats!

Holy crap! The Bus 49 is a must for those looking to experience something different but amazing in Hope Alaska. Very unique yet cozy and welcoming. Plus with the owners living on the property all of our questions were answered in minutes! We will be telling or friends about this place so they can enjoy Hope too.
