As an easy to access respite, only a few yards from Hwy 42/Chandler Mountain Road, Kudzu Kamp offers simple accommodations and ample space for larger parties or for multiple vehicles.
As you pull into the property, you will note the camp's namesake plant, Kudzu, adorning the trees nearby, following each driveway up the mountain. As an attractive form of erosion control, Kudzu was introduced to the South in the 1940s. Since that time, there are whole counties in Mississippi that are under it's foliage (maybe exaggerating a little). The plant grows over 12" on a good Summer day and is the primary nuisance plant on the property.
Not to worry, Kudzu Kamp is nestled next to the highway under tall hardwoods, next to a rain-fed stream, with no such insiduous plant affecting the experience.
