A little slice of heaven!
I traveled to John's beautiful land with my RPod RV and was so pleasantly surprised by how beautiful, and huge it was!
The large beaver ponds are just beautful, and the natural setting is peaceful and relaxing. My dogs and I enjoyed several leisurely walks around the 250 acre property.
There are full hookups, picnic table, and a fire ring. When I arrived, there was a huge stack of firewood already waiting, and even tinder, and kindling right beside the fire ring! All it took was a little paper and a match to get a blazing campfire going!
The host, John, is warm welcoming, and so friendly. My only regret was that I was unable to stay longer!

This was our third time stopping there and will plan on going again. Host was great and view of the mountains was nice.
Beaver Lakes Campground
Amazing large area to camp, host offered cell phone to reach out, which I did looking for directions. No response. Found the campground after texting my estimated arrival time. Nobody around, i just wanted to get settled, so i drove and found my own spot. Would of been nice to have a map, specific site, knowing that all hook ups worked. I got lucky, i have a 36 ft rig and bot a fan of winging it. Beautiful place though.

Beaver Lakes Campground
This was my first experience with Hip Camp. John was an excellent host and I highly recommend this location for anyone camping in the Summersville WV area. Easy to get to -even in the dark! We arrived late and John was so helpful in getting us to our spot. Loved it here!

Great Hospitality
John was very accommodating and kind. It was raining when we got in to set up camp, John drove us around the property and gave us the lay of the land. We mentioned that we were rafting the next day which is a 40 min drive from camp, he kindly checked to see if we had made it back safely and cautioned us to watch for deer. We did not get to explore much of the property bc of the rain but our little spot was just what we needed.
