Campsite 1
Best place we've been so far!
Campsite one is amazing! When we got there the site was actually groomed it didn't look like anybody had ever been there before us we had firewood and even all set up ready to light in the fireplace. Richard was amazing and very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, and answer any questions we had. The river is literally 25 ft away from the front door and there is about 300 yards of river to explore, with trails to walk around and check out the campsite. The sound of the river will lull you to sleep at night it's amazing.

Campsite 2
Beyond grateful for our host Richard. Stayed at Campsite #2. Stunning. Almost lost for words. Mere feet from the river and streams. Beautiful forested property and abundance of trails. The sheer amount of work Richard has done to create a site so ideal and well maintained. The convenience of the Sani-Can, water supply and power with assortment of adapters if needed. Had our 2 boxer doggies who were able to run around at will. The campsites are far enough apart you would hardly know if anyone was around. Simple things like seeing rake marks all around our expansive site shows the care and detail Richard puts in to make the site appear as if you were the first people on Earth to ever step foot there. The only thing you really need to bring is your appriciation for this splendid campsite.

Campsite 1
A pristine campsite
We lucked out and managed to book a weekend during some unseasonably warm weather in May. We live on the Peninsula and will gladly return to lounge on the Dungeness. My husband is in a manual wheelchair so we parked closer to the river where the dirt is hard packed and maneuvering is easier. Some assistance was needed heading up the incline to the fire pit area since it involves sand…traction in all other areas was not an issue. Many thanks to Richard for sharing this beautiful space. 5 stars for the well seasoned firewood…the easiest fire starting ever…we have kindling envy:)

Campsite 2
Amazingly maintained spot. Host said the creek was low but it was perfect for our stay. Kids and dogs loved it. Very private. Tons of trails to explore. Park like setting. Cant wait to come back.

Site 2 is a winner
Absolutely loved site 2. We stayed at site 1 last year and dare I say that I like site 2 better?! The covered pergola with the large picnic bench was great and the fire pit was perfect because it was chilly! We will definitely return!
