Site 2 in front of barn
Beautiful views, with caveats
I stayed at site 2 which is 30 amp only. Site 1 is 50 amp only and much more level. There is water available. The view is amazing. The stars are incredible. There is road noise from I-81 which is constant so be aware. But that means you are really close to I-81. Making this a perfect overnight spot for travel. Okay…with a travel trailer…there is NO level spot that allows easy access to the 30 amp plug at site 2. You need some sort of extension, or be prepared to boondock. Or book site one and bring an adapter. The toilet is in the horse barn (it is shaped like a T. Bathroom in top right of the T.

Site 2 in front of barn
Beautiful farm with amazing views of the blue ridge. Kids throughly enjoyed watching and learning about the horses while camping. Dogs had a blast too! Definitely would stay again!!
Site 2 in front of barn
Site 2 is an a hill, hard to get to, not conducive to a trailer. Electric and water were available but too far from partially level site. Would not stay there again

Camping Among Horses
This was one of our top 5 HipCamp stays to date. Spectacular place to stay. From our site we had spectacular views of the property and distance mountains. Great owner! We stayed on site #1. Water hookup and 50 amp (50 to 30 amp converter in storage bin on site). Bonus for us…we had horses as next door neighbors! Winery (adjacent) and Cidery (across the street) are easily walkable. Definitely planning to stay agin when driving through the area.

Bummer dude
We were really excited to come stay on this site. Unfortunately, we didn’t end up staying because when we arrived and figured out the exact location, there was signage, saying no fires. When we originally booked the site, to our knowledge, camp fires were not prohibited. I understand why they were prohibited I just wish we knew that ahead of time. The location was also on a hill. Which is not a big deal for some. Our check-in information said that the site was across from a red gate. We did not see a red gate. Maybe a little bit more signage would be helpful. It’s unfortunate because we were really looking forward to staying and seeing the horses. However, as we were figuring out the site situation, we realized most of the horses were boarding there, and not just out in pasture. It is a very beautiful equestrian center but not ready set up for a camping experience.

Horse (and human) sanctuary
A beautiful campsite and a gracious host! What more could you ask for. The site is all grass so something to keep in mind. Didn't have any problem with my 24-ft jayco and V8 pickup. Site isn't completely level but if you look around or park perpendicular to the barn, you can get it pretty close. Some of the most beautiful views, lots of mowed grass for my dog to run, some cool trails and close to the Safari park, and downtown Lexington. Great location. Loved waking up and seeing horses out to pasture
