River tent sites give you the option to upgrade and camp on the river with a 300' of sandy beach to play on. $50.00 for direct primitive river front tent camping. All of our spots are heavily shaded! Porta Potties, fire rings, picnic tables and water available at all campgrounds. If you are looking for an RV, cabins or vaca home to rent for your stay, message us for more details. Enjoy 123 miles of river connecting Possum Kingdom to Lake Granbury for tubing, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, wildlife watching, and the great outdoors. Quiet and relaxing place
The owner was very responsive. The cabin was clean and minimalistic, as the pictures depict. The place was quiet and peaceful. I felt very safe as a lone traveler.

Sandy Bottoms RV Campground
This is a super nice place; and the host was so nice. It was muddy in the original spot we booked and so they offered to move us right on the river. John was super helpful if we needed anything. Would 10/10 recommend.

Amazing Experience!
The cabin was well established, close to the river beach, quiet and accommodating. The host is amazing and very welcoming. The view of the stars at night is beautiful and the fire pits are well built.

Site 4 - Sandy Bottoms River Camp
Great place
This was a very great place for a weekend getaway. When we arrived we were greeted and shown to our spot. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and offered us anything that we did not have. Sites were very clean and taken care of with a great view.
