Just got home from a 3 day stay. Nice and private! Great for a couple, family or a group of friends! We left the site a few times to check out Clear Creek to do some hiking and also Beartown rocks overlook! Definitely some cool things to check out while visiting.
We met Josh on the way out... so nice to meet you! Great place and I'll be booking another trip, soon!! Thank you!!

Perfect!
Loved camping here with our friends! They had the first site and we booked the second one. Plenty of space for both RV’s and two trucks. Our dogs loved roaming free and no one visible for them to worry about. It rained our first night but dried out nicely the second day. A mama deer decided to leave her fawn at the end of the drive the second day for us to watch for her (obviously from a distance) until she came back to pick her up. It was a great experience! I highly recommend this spot!

Hidden Gem!
This site was everything we wanted and more! Our daughter absolutely loved exploring the land and we did too! A hidden gem for those looking to unplug and unwind in a truly secluded area. We can't wait to come back!

This place is Amazing
I normally don’t leave reviews unless I had an above Amazing experience and this place was way above my my expectations. I have been meaning to try hip camp for years because my family and I wanted to find a place that had more privacy than your standard campground were you have more room in your own back yard lol. This place was off the beaten path and once you arrived it’s was so peaceful and quiet! The owners have put some serious time and thought into how this site is planned out. It’s was so relaxing and we plan to come back once a year. This place is probably the best place to camp near Clear Creek and Cook forest with lots to do in the area but even if you don’t leave it’s worth the trip just to experience the site and beautiful scenery. They had a nice fire ring and having the water and electric is a really nice addition. Once people start to hear about this place I’m sure it will be hard to find an open weekend it available so I’m hoping next year we can go agin. Great job Josh you have your own hidden paradise there and we look forward to staying there again. Thank you for making things so easy and relaxing.

Spectacular woods and wildlife.
Amazing and unique in the right ways. Our stay at the property was fantastic.
The site:
We have never stayed in a woods like it. Peaceful, no thorn bushes or poison ivy, literally mossy beautiful open undergrowth for miles. We walked to the local state park from the woods of our campsite and had a blast. Everything was open and super family friendly. The sounds of nature are abundant a little to no sounds of mankind.
Access: It’s a little off the beaten path, but was no problem to access. Our truck and travel trailer combined are 51’ long and we found it easy to maneuver on the site. Water and electric hooks ups and a dump out down the street at the park when you leave.

Great site!
Wonderful, private spot and Josh was super communicative! The fire wood was an added bonus, and we can’t wait to go back in the summer when the trees are full providing even more privacy. Don’t miss out on all of the great hiking in clear creek state park. Just be aware that elk road is really rough and you need to go very slowly.
