LOCATION HIGHLIGHTS: Located just 15 minutes from Hillsboro, 20 minutes from Portland, and 59 miles to the Oregon Coast, with easy access to Sunset Highway 26.
We are a 4/20 friendly farm, ADT camera and security monitored.
CRITTERS AND FARM LIFE: You may see all types of birds of prey hanging out in a nearby tree or along the posts of our fenced-in field in search of the next meal. We have two special needs horses you may or may not see, along with a vegatable garden. The garden will not produce until mid to late summer, and usually there is enough to share with whomever is on the farm at the time. Check in with us while you're here and we'll let you know what we have too much of that you can take and use.
Gas campfires are allowed at this time, no loud parties, but feel free to enjoy the night sky and fresh air.
Wanna meet the horses? Check in to schedule a time. A signed release form is required to enter the barn area. NO FEEDING of the horses, even if it's 'just grass'. They are both special needs horses, and well cared for and loved. Feeding them could end up killing them, so please respect and honor this request.
You will see and hear cars from the road, but noise isn't constant and usually dies down before the sleeping hour. This is a farming community, so you'll come across farming goings on, and those staying on the farm have normal duties. The road is along a cycle route, so pay attention when coming and going from the property. Heck, join the group if you’re a cyclist!
DOG DISCLAIMER - PLEASE READ: Dogs must be on a leash when outside of your rig, and we ask that you clean up after your dog (we can provide a scooper). We have a farm dog who is well socialized, friendly , loves other animals, and is not on a leash as he’s a working working dog.
DOGS AND HORSES - PLEASE READ: If your dog gets loose and threatens a horse in any way, your dog could be seriously injured or killed. Horses will do everything to protect themselves if they feel under attack. Let this not be the fate your beloved companion. It is necessary that your dog remains leashed, especially anywhere near horses.
With this location, you will not be far from wherever your adventures are taking you, and you can sleep feeling a bit more secure within our property, knowing you are staying in a place filled with love and community.
NOTE: Locations and availability may change due to weather conditions.
