Beautiful Private Campsite
We booked Jodi’s place last minute as we wanted a nice, private, wide open space to camp for the night on our way out towards Missoula. The directions were very clear although I would definitely suggest getting there before dark if you can. No one had booked either site, so we had our pick when we got there. If we were cooking dinner or camping with others we probably would’ve opted for near the river. However, there was a chance of seeing the northern lights that night so we figured the pasture was our best option. It was gorgeous watching the sun set over the mountains and the sky change colors. Loved hearing the cows and birds nearby. The interstate is far enough away where you don’t notice it unless there is a particularly loud car, but it’s pretty quiet at night. We did end up seeing the northern lights, had a wonderful night sleeping to the sound of cows, and had a delicious breakfast in Deer Lodge down the road that morning. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Quiet place to sleep. We have a 20’ van and had no difficulty finding a level enough place close to the river. Good communication throughout. What a nice farm! There were a couple of gates to open and close and while the ground looked a little rough in some locations, it was easy to navigate.

Easy stop right off i90.
We were looking for an easy stop as we passed through, and this was perfect. We came in after dark, which always makes finding a spot difficult, but the instructions were excellent and we had no issues.
