Large Open Space Camping
The site is absolutely amazing! I think we are now spoiled and it will be hard to stay in a regular campground with other people! There were six of us with our five dogs and we all had a terrific time. The river was a blessing on our hot Saturday and the running water was a game changer for "primitive" camping. Advice for future campers at this site...BUG (tick) SPRAY!!

This campsite was gorgeous! The view was super and the toilet was very clean. Loved how it had an area higher up and another down below by the water where you can get in the water if you want to. Would definitely come back again. It is very close to the road, but its private still. Just a bit noisy during the day but it quiets down at night.

The site is beautiful! Having 2 spots to spend time at was great. I spent most of my time in the lower spot, and it felt very private and peaceful. The upper spot was great for sunsets! I loved the water spout- the constant running water peas nice and drowned out the road noise. Would love to stay again!

The best part of the whole trip
In a camping trip where everything else went wrong, Boondock Ridge was SO RIGHT. The spot is absolutely beautiful and while ots close to tue road and very close to a Dollar General (score) it absolutely feels remote and private. While I don't want the place to be unavailable next time I go (which I will, no question) I am going to shout from the rooftops my praise of this cute little spot. Definitely give it a shot! The hosts are so kind.

Great spot for a quick weekend getaway! It was a little closer to the road than we were expecting, so there was some noise. But the little spot down by the river was very peaceful. Nick and Teresa were great hosts and dropped us off some firewood while we were out hiking. Recommend this spot!

A great place to camp!
What can we say, we've camped here 3 times and every time has been great, beautiful fall colors, private setting, easy to setup camp and relax! Close enough to what you might need to get, but far enough to be alone from the hustle and bustle. Hosts are very friendly and attentive if you need. A very clean, well engineered outhouse to boot.. and a huge fire ring overlooking the river.. a great place to camp for sure!
