Nestled on the shores of Ducklake this 2 acre parcel is an ideal location to kick back , enjoy and explore the eastern side of Glacier park. We are 20 mins from the park gates, 20 mins from Many Glacier and about 40 mins to Waterton park. The gradual sloping beach is perfect for all kinds of water sports and recreation. Many grassed areas or shady treed sites and the sites on the beach with breathtaking sunrises, sunsets and most amazing stars at night. Ducklake is well known for its trophy rainbow trout aswell. We have 2 kayaks, a canoe, little fishing boat with electric motor, an assortment of rods and lures, propane BBQ, and solo smokeless campfire pits. All for guest to enjoy and use on a first come first serve basis.Large beautiful area with flats, trees or beach sites. Amazing views of the rocky mountains and the lake. This area is known for an abundance of wildlife from deer moose elk, foxes to the grizzly's. Across the lake is a peninsula called Pelican point where during periods of the year will hosts hundreds of the enormous birds competing with the Eagles and ospreys. Were happy to comment that new for 2024 we added a gender neutral shower house along with a Keurig coffee machine. We added 3 solo smoke free portable fire pits and a full size propane bbq. all on a first come basis.

Beautiful spot! We had our 2 dogs and 19’ camper pulled by a big Nissan NV van. We parked on the beach, borrowed one of the available Solo stoves, and enjoyed the sunsets, stars, and wildlife.

Stunning views! The lake water was so clear, and soothing to listen to all night. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous! Just pulled right up on the rock beach, leveled the van and slept incredibly well. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic! The hosts are so welcoming and easy going and for them to share such a unique spot in this world...we are so grateful. We drove up from Whitefish and the directions were excellent and once we picked a spot near the water, that view of the park just takes over. One can't put into words the long term connection the perspective this place offers. Numbers can tell their own story, I just looked up Chief Mountain ( which you can see in all of these photos I am about to upload) and it is estimated to be 1400 million years old!! So to get to spend even a single night with these peaks, well, its not just timeless.

Stay here -- it's a MUST!
Too many good things to fit into a review! Nicest, nicest, nicest people we've ever met. Blown away by the kindness, the hospitality, and the gracious conversation. And SO MUCH generosity with their land, their time, their belongings to make sure we had the best time. They even helped us level our van! The spot itself....gorgeous. Right on the water, beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Best HipCamp we've ever stayed with. Don't skip on this one, and stay as long as you can. Thank you so much!!!!
