Beautiful spot! We had our 2 dogs and 19’ camper pulled by a big Nissan NV van. We parked on the beach, borrowed one of the available Solo stoves, and enjoyed the sunsets, stars, and wildlife.

Stunning views! The lake water was so clear, and soothing to listen to all night. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous! Just pulled right up on the rock beach, leveled the van and slept incredibly well. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic! The hosts are so welcoming and easy going and for them to share such a unique spot in this world...we are so grateful.
We drove up from Whitefish and the directions were excellent and once we picked a spot near the water, that view of the park just takes over. One can't put into words the long term connection the perspective this place offers. Numbers can tell their own story, I just looked up Chief Mountain ( which you can see in all of these photos I am about to upload) and it is estimated to be 1400 million years old!! So to get to spend even a single night with these peaks, well, its not just timeless.

Stay here -- it's a MUST!
Too many good things to fit into a review! Nicest, nicest, nicest people we've ever met. Blown away by the kindness, the hospitality, and the gracious conversation. And SO MUCH generosity with their land, their time, their belongings to make sure we had the best time. They even helped us level our van! The spot itself....gorgeous. Right on the water, beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Best HipCamp we've ever stayed with. Don't skip on this one, and stay as long as you can. Thank you so much!!!!
