8 acres of beautiful forested land with a small creek running nearby the campsite. WALKING distance to New River Gorge National Park! Approx 5min walk across edmond-lansing rd to short creek/head house trail. Hiking to views of the gorge, down to the river and plenty of climbing. Endless wall is 2 min drive down the road, some of the best hiking and climbing in the gorge! Beauty Mountain overlook is 1.5 miles away. Campsite is off of a private neighborhood road. GPS will NOT take you to our place. It will send you to the neighbors, so please follow written directions from host. We don’t want to burden our neighbors. Thank you! There is a small fire ring, bring dry wood and make sure to put your fire completely out anytime you wont be attending it, this is the woods. ALL are welcome. This space is a safe place, and prejudice or hate will not be tolerated. Thank you for treating others with respect and kindness.Park your van or small rv on the shaded gravel pad or pitch your tent a short walk into the trees for a bit more seclusion. Enjoy a small creek and fire pit most of the year. The outhouse is less than a hundred paces up a forest path for your convenience. Our camper is on the other side of the land, out of sight from your camping.

Creekside Camp
Creekside Perfection
I had a fantastic stay at Lu’s creekside property during my road trip. The location was perfect, offering a serene and picturesque setting right by the creek. It was incredibly convenient, situated close to the New River Gorge, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The campsite was well-maintained and provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Lu was a gracious host, ensuring everything was in order and providing helpful local tips. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient camping experience near the New River Gorge.

Creekside Camp
Ideal Camp with Easy Park Access
We had such a blast camping on Lu's land near New River Gorge National Park! And when I say near, I mean it is truly in walking distance - including a couple really cool trails worth checking out. It's on the smaller side, but that was perfect for us (2 campers and 1 small dog!). We were able to fit both of our cars and make great use of the space. Key things - if you're looking for FULL seclusion there was def daily car/motorcycle traffic by the campsite but all the neighbors are super respectful and drive slowly (as you should too) so it wasn't a bother at all. Plus, the owners have made a privacy wall/fence out of branches which we thought was so cool!! It felt super secluded and the grounds are GORGEOUS. We have AT&T and T-Mobile, both had some service (good enough for texting/calling but not strong 'internet' if you're planning to work, we did get Google Drive to work) though hopefully you'll disconnect a bit while there, it's a cool spot. My dog loved it too! The outhouse is honestly pretty sweet, I am one of those campers that would typically opt for just doing my business out in nature (have you ever had a bug fly up out of a campground toilet? I have - it's scary lol) but it's clearly well maintained and easily the best outdoor toilet situation I've ever encountered in the USA. Felt that was worth mentioning!!

Creekside Camp
Nice little camping spot. Upon arriving it wasn't as quiet as I thought it'd be, mowers and many other power tools being used. However, the creek and the firepit were wonderful. And the location was very easy to find.

Creekside Camp
YES!
A WONDERFUL first stop on my trip. Incredibly secluded and quiet. Lu was a lovely host too, checked in on me a few times to make sure I was alright despite the rain! Absolutely loved this spot - super close to the park and on the same road as some of the main trails! Absolutely recommend this spot

Creekside Camp
Nice spot!
As others said, it’s right on the road, but the road is a small gravel one and doesn’t get much traffic so it seems private and is very pretty. Nice little path to the composting toilet.
