The Lookout is an amazing piece of property with elevations with expansive south facing views of Clear Lake, Rainier, Olympics, and the foothills of the Cascades. The site is perfect for sunsets, a launch pad to activities in Skagit Valley, and most importantly a private mountain bike flow trail (experts only at this time). More trails coming this fall! Upper Mountain Lookout
Such an amazing view and campsite. This was our second trip out and we’re already planning the next. Zack makes it super comfortable and easy to enjoy beautiful nature close to town. Highly recommended!

Mid-Mountain Lookout
missed the mark
The site itself has a great view, but that's about the only good thing I have to say. For starters, the host was completely non-responsive when we tried to contact them. They were not onsite either, not that we expected them to be. Situated on a hillside, the entire property is wind swept. The site itself has a fire pit right at the edge, making for a nice view, but once nightfalls and the fire starts, you're sitting directly upwind and catching all the smoke. There is also no cover at all, as it seems most trees have fallen or been taken out for the road that was built. These means any shelter from the hot summer sun or spring rain is going to be what you can attach to your vehicle or secure well enough not to blow over. There is a deck, but it's fairly small and oddly shaped. The guardrails on it are missing any lower support or blocking, making them only appropriate for full grown adults. No picnic table or anything either. Although billed as 26 acres, hardly any of it is accessible. There is a winding road up the hill, and the bike path. No where else to explore or wander around to. This place is really only good for the following: Van lifers with too much money or who don't want to boondocks. Expert mountain bike enthusiasts. Large groups of 20-somethings who want to be loud and party. Other than that I can't think of what kind of market this place is targeted for. We left early, and won't be back.

Private campsite, view is outstanding, bike trails are top notch! Zach was very responsive when messaging and a great host. When people visit here, we should be sure to be grateful that there are other people in the world that share their properties like this with us!

The most beautiful view!
The view from this campsite is just amazing with a nice pink sky during the sunset. The campsite is clean and well-paved. Just bring bug repellent.

Absolutely Dreamy Stay
Our quick one night camping trip was absolutely perfect. The site was clean and set up perfectly for relaxing and enjoying the views. We BBQ's and sat with our pup on the deck for hours just enjoying everything about the location. We took a walk up to the top and it was a wonderful after dinner adventure. Even though we were only 10 minutes from our own home we are already planning a return trip. HIGHLY recommend. Also we lucked out and got to watch the Aurora Borealis right from our campsite which made this trip absolutely magical. We had seen it up in Alaska and did not think it could be better but that night sitting at our campsite topped it!

Highly recommended!
Awesome lookout spot, the view is amazing! The host communicates well and will give you all the information you need. Definitely going back with friends and will stay more nights. The weather is perfect. It gets windy in the middle of the night bcoz we stayed on the very top site, but luckily we secured all our stuff before we passed out lol.
