Dry camping for wildflower hikers
Great place with lots of camping spots for dry camping. We camped down in the pines by a meadow bursting with Lupine. We were close to all the great, spring, wildflower hikes. Would definitely recommend.

Quiet unique spot near hiking
We had a lovely stay! It was quiet and felt secluded down in the pine trees. We had a fire pit and picnic table and no other campers within sight. We were greeted with friendly faces and fresh eggs upon arrival. Fresh water is easy from the spigots! The field was lovely for stargazing. And the location for springtime wildflower hiking is great! Roosters woke us up in the morning and we felt right at home :)

First HipCamp! 5/5 Stars!
Amazing experience for our first HipCamp. So beautiful and mellow! Much better than a campground. We loved the dogs, chickens, goats, and solitude. 5 year old loved the playground and things to climb on. Plenty of space and even caught a glimpse of the Norther Lights.

Camp far from chickens
Over all we had a good time. Our kids loved playing with the host’s kids and seeing all their pets. The spots down by the trees were nice and the ports potty was clean. Our first night we were closer to the chickens and they have multiple roosters so we were up at 3:30am which we definitely didn’t plan on. The lower camp site at the far end of the property was nice and private but there was a ton on poison oak in the trees.

Hidden Gem 10/10
My girlfriend, daughter and I camped here this weekend and had the BEST experience! Amy was super friendly and helpful, the property is absolutely stunning and the animals were so cute (shoutout to John Dog, who made best friends with our dog while we stayed); we even took home a fresh carton of eggs and Amy’s fresh baked sourdough! Our spot was perfect, we had plenty of privacy, lots of space and a fire pit! The portable toilet was kept nice and clean, always had TP. The property was easy to find, and close to all the fun hikes and markets we wanted to hit in Hood River and surrounding areas to the campsite, but still tucked up high enough on the mountain to get great views. We felt safe and so welcome, we absolutely will be back again!
