Kennedy Peak
Place is small, spots are slanted so you’re sleeping on an angle, next to a bunch of farms so it smells like manure. Bare bones place.

Strickler Knob
Camping at Traveler's Meadow was peaceful and cozy. My site had a flat parking space and place to set up my tent. The bathhouse was clean and had everything you could need (the sink outside was especially nice for brushing my teeth). Unfortunately I think I set my tent up in a nest of daddy long legs because there were quite a few on my rain fly in the mornings, but that's just part of the adventure! As a solo traveler, I felt very safe here. And you can't beat the price. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Nathan!

Blue Ridge Tunnel
Comfortable, nice spot to stay for the night. Close to great swimming hole and walk in the woods. Nathan was a friendly host.

Blue Ridge Tunnel
Quiet grassy area enclosed by trees which provide shade and privacy from the road ~70 ft away. A slight slope, but fairly level. We almost couldn't find our site because the sign was obscured by vines. Some animal noises heard in the early morning, and of course, the roosters at dawn. Due to some rain overnight, our 20-ft van almost got stuck in the mud when trying to leave. There is no direct water hookup for this particular site (Blue Ridge Tunnel) but the bath house has two exterior water spigots ~300 ft. away. The uphill gravel road to get there is narrow and uneven (I made it through the loop twice in my 2WD campervan, but drive carefully). The trash bins were overflowing. Located 2 miles from Rt. 42 and just a few miles from Interstate 81.

Brown's Gap (Firepit campsite)
The gps led us down the driveway, but the host gave us directions to find the campsite. It was a little confusing figuring out where our site was. It was mostly quiet. We were woken up by the rooster. Overall it was an easy stay and we’d recommend it.
