Awesome View is appropriately named; we have nearly a 360 degree view of mountains—Blue Ridge and Massanutten. We have a field that is great for camping with farmland all around. Lots of hiking, biking and skiing close by. Within 4 miles you can visit Shenandoah National Park and Massanutten 4 Seasons Resort and in the summer a produce market with delicious fresh veggies. Nearby you can visit Luray caverns and others, Blue Ridge Parkway, Shenandoah National Park, Appalachian trail, historic Charlottesville and Staunton.

Truly is an Awesome View

Fabulous view of the mountains. Vickie warmly greeted us and told us about a great walking route for our dogs down to the river. It's truly a lovely spot to enjoy camping and exploring the area. We will return.

Awesome View

This HipCamp is perfectly named! Gorgeous setting, beautifully maintained. Loved being able to have pups off lead enjoying a mowed path. Hosts were gracious, thoughtful, friendly and respectful of privacy. We would for sure stay again!

We loved our stay. It was very easy to set up and was everything we needed for a 1 night stay near NP . Owners were friendly and location was quiet. Great stay!

Great for overnight or short visit!

Great and beautiful location in which to visit Shenandoah NP! Vicki’s place is great, easy to find and easy place to park and enjoy the views and activities even if not visiting the NP. The actual parking area is a grassy, well kept area with picnic tables. Horses nearby and parking is not too far from a somewhat busy highway. But not really a negative, plus it’s close to town with lots of variety. Would definitely return!

It is a lovely spot, easy to access and set up. Beautiful views and sun set. Aptly named “Awesome Views” Loved seeing horses and hearing a rooster crow!

Awesome View Campsite 2-no electric

Great spot!

Lovely view, flat site. We pulled in late and it was easy to find. East access to Shenandoah NP from there. Definitely recommend.
