Great camping! Will be back!
Great camp site! Very convenient and close to the main town as well. Very nice to have access to the bathroom/shower and the amenities. The fruit trees were a great surprise!

Idyllwild Camp
Great for glamping with kids
Wonderful spot! This is more of a glamping spot than wilderness camping. You are in the hosts front yard, on a main road that is mostly quiet. Because I have a little one it was perfect for us. There is a regular indoor bathroom and shower. There was even a fridge and coffee maker. There were no other campers but I think if the other tent spots were full it would have felt crowded. But we had it all to ourselves! The host also allowed my daughter and I to pick some of her fresh fruit which was really fun. This is a good spot for anyone with little kids or if you are camping with someone who is unsure about being outdoors. The host was friendly and kept everything well stocked!

It was a great camp. The host Cindy was very kind and helpful. The site is well maintained and very comfortable.

Idyllwild Camp
Nature awaits w/ lots of amenities
We had a fantastic experience with our recent Hipcamp stay! Our host was incredibly responsive, and the location was ideal, conveniently close to several excellent hiking trails, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. The site is probably best suited for tent campers or those with a small RV or van; we have a rooftop tent, and it was a great fit for us. However, I'm not sure if any of the sites could accommodate a large RV.
The highlight for us was the wonderful community room, separate from the main house. It was well-equipped with everything we needed: a cozy sofa, TV, refrigerator, and various coffee and tea options. The bathroom, complete with a hot shower, added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. The community seating areas with propane tabletops also created a nice heat and ambiance for socializing and eating. Overall, this Hipcamp site exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect blend of nature and comfort.

Very nice campsite. Cindy was super friendly & helpful. Everything was clean, organized, and well maintained. Great being able to take a shower in between our day hikes.
