Creek Site
We had a great, relaxing stay at the Creek Site with our dog. Hosts were friendly, welcoming, and provided very helpful written directions before our arrival. We got to see a newt and lots of banana slugs, and loved listening to the sound of the creek, the wind in the trees, and a great horned owl. Though well-maintained, the road to the Creek Site is narrow and steep in spots, which may be of interest to future campers who are not in a 4x4 or are towing a vintage camper like we were. Also of note, the only firewood permitted is sold by the hosts for $20/bundle - depending on the length of your stay, this could rack up as an added expense.

PEACEFUL REDWOOD LANDING
Great site for baby's 1st camp!
Amazing hosts and such a serene site. Perfect for both our baby and pup since you you have so much privacy and no potential noise from other campere! Loved our time there and will definitely be returning soon. Thank you so much Denise and Doug!!

It is a lovely very private site. A small creek below the site makes for a relaxing ambiance. The hosts are very helpful and easy to connect with. We will definitely be back again.

Kids first camping trip 🏕️
My family loved camping at the Creek Site. We had such a wonderful time and enjoyed perfect weather. When our original plans to camp in Big Sur were unexpectedly cancelled due to a road closure, we decided to make the most of our trip and find another great place to camp.
Needless to say, it was one of the best camping experiences we’ve ever had and the perfect first camp out for our little ones!
The hostess, Denise, was so kind and helpful! Her directions and communication were very clear. She and Doug were extremely accommodating to our last minute reservation. We even had an opportunity to help clear a fallen tree, which really added to the adventure/spirit of the outdoors.
The Creek site was a beautiful spot; a perfect sized clearing with a wonderful view of the night sky, quiet and secluded with a short hike down to the Creek. Our family made so many fun memories in the time we had here and we can’t wait to come back to make more!
Thank you Doug and Denise for allowing us to stay at such a beautiful campsite and build the best memories with our family.

AWESOME spot!!! Very secluded, perfect for those who want an “off the grid” kind of trip. We had a fun adventure getting down to camp. Denise and Doug are wonderful hosts. Denise helped us all the way down to the creek spot, loaded us up with wood and was super accommodating. We originally had 3 nights reserved but had to leave early due to severe weather coming in. Denise was kind enough to credit us for the nights we weren’t able to stay. Can’t wait to come back asap.
