Quiet and off grid. No light pollution and amazing mountain views and night sky.What an amazing sky We have here! The stars at night are outstanding. We are 25 miles from the grand canyon. Just 2 miles from the town of Valle ( Grand canyon Junction). We are 27 miles to historic Williams and 50 miles to Flagstaff. We are close to Snowbowl and the Nordic Center if you like to ski. We have 360 mountain views. Its quiet, no light pollution and the sky is amazing! We live here full time off grid. The weather is great but we are high desert so it gets cold at night and in the morning. It can also be a little windy.

Simple but cozy
Host is really nice person. She greeted us warmly. The place is not much, there is a toilet and that’s pretty much it. But the night sky is insane! You can take shower in Grand Canyon tho and get to this place only for chilling at the evening as we did.

Nice private, quiet spot
Rianna was very sweet and her land is lovely! I wish I’d had time to pet the goats or do yoga with her. I felt very safe on her land and having a bathroom was a plus. The road in is insane though! (I was fine in a small SUV)

Rianna was a super sweet host! Her place had a beautiful view of the full moon last night. When me and my partner were making breakfast, we were greeted by one of her dogs. Definitely would go back!

Rianna gave great directions to her very off the grid site. I definitely don’t recommend driving in at night, you’ll never find the place. But that was part of the beauty of it! Quiet, secluded and private. Rianna, her cute dog and daughter greeted us, said we had our pick of where to park and made sure the outhouse was stocked with TP. Such beautiful sunsets and sunrises out there! She even messaged me about an outdoor early morning yoga class which I would have loved to attend if I’d had the time. Definitely recommend this spot as a great and close Grand Canyon stay!

We drove out there in a 2014 Mazda 2. You can do it! Such a nice and pretty quiet place. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be returning.
