5 acre property surrounded by tall redwood and oak trees. Very green and lots of shade. These are the amenities/facilities you will have free access to: Pool, Pool chairs and umbrellas, Deck area with sunset view, Trampolines, and hammocks. THERE IS A 1-2 MINUTE HIKE TO THE CAMPSITES 1-5! Poolside campsites are closer to the parking and are bigger. FOR ALL CAMPSITES Free coffee in the mornings on the deck! If you have pets make sure to include the extra fee per pet please! We are very near the Lost Empire Hiking trail less than a mile away! We ask you to please let us know your ETA before coming as there is spotty connection. CHECK OUT OUR NEW LODGING: This property is my home that I live in with my 2 kids. It is a rustic and homey vibe, definitely not a hotel. We want you to come knowing what to expect. Our property offers a pool, and trampolines for the kids. We have a deck patio area that overlooks an amazing view of the redwood forest. Most of our guests are those that come from foreign countries and they all LOVE the property. I love leaving a great impression of our area. Thank you!:)

Oak Tree Campsite
Beautiful Land, Sweet Host
I loved camping this past weekend on Ruth’s land! She has a very beautiful property full of lots of tall redwoods. It’s especially nice when the sunshine comes out. It was luxurious to have access to a bathroom and shower. Ruth the sweetest host ever, and made us feel so welcome and supported.

Outta this world
We loved camping here! We had the place to ourselves and it was so peaceful and quiet and comfy. We sat on the deck by the pool and enjoyed a sunny afternoon. Tania even made us coffee in the morning. She and her son, Marshall were lovely hosts and made us feel so welcome and at home. Highly recommend and will be back this summer!

Oak Tree Campsite
Had fun!
Nice family owned woods. The oak tree site was located behind the main house. It was very spacious for 2 people. We made separate areas for our tent, cooking / dining, and 2 dogs to play. Bathroom was clean. Hosts were attentive! Only stayed one night, so we forgot to ask if there was wifi. Our phones were in “SOS” mode the entire time, so we couldn’t message the hosts. Luckily they were outside whenever we needed help! If there is no wifi, it would be a nice feature to add just to make communicating with hosts easier.

Be weary
The hosts seemed friendly. They went over the rules with all of us as we arrived, told us we could stay longer than check out, and let us switch one of our campsites for a different one with more level ground There is a fee for extra people and cars. We paid 2 sites, had 4 cars. When we arrived, we were told to pay the fees in cash and not the platform (big mistake. The host later demanded an extra $270 as there was no record that we had already paid in cash. Lesson learned - always go through the app so there is a paper trail) There were chairs by the pool (although you aren’t allowed to move them at all), a sink, a bathroom, and a shower The hosts hung out with us a lot, swam with us, had a plate of food that we provided and cooked, and shared our birthday cake The hosts claimed after the fact that we broke a chair, which we did not. Wouldn’t that have come up while they were hanging out with us? No quiet hours are posted anywhere. After 10 we turned the music off, but we were laughing a lot playing a board game and cards, so they asked us i think twice to be quieter so we went to bed at 11. If you’re a small family it’s fine I guess. I understand small businesses, but there is no excuse to lie to extort extra money from customers. Eve’s review is also correct that it is run down. Awful for large groups. We went for a chill time to BBQ and swim, and are being accused of partying & breaking things
