40 acres of off grid property in the monteagle valley. We live year round on the property, growing food, tending the apple orchard, and wild foraging. Campsites nestled in the woods with lots of trails to explore. Less than 2 minute drive to Salmon Trout Lake or 15 minutes to Papineau Beach or Fosters Beach, both great for kids. Great area for canoeing, hiking and fishing. 15 minutes from Maynooth and Bancroft, 30 minutes to Algonquin Park. Queer and 420 friendly.Come and escape in the hemlock grove. Super private, you'll be the only ones at the site. Overlooking Salmon Trout lake, with views to the west for perfect sunsets every night and a hill to the east for shady mornings. Enjoy days exploring and evenings at the camp fire Camp site features a fire pit with chairs, raised counter top for cooking and food prep, one of the nicest outhouses you'll ever see, a line to hang your wet bathing suits and a five foot picnic table. You'll have the whole site to yourself. Spend your days relaxing here or go explore all the local lakes, rivers, farmers markets and antique shops.

Into the Wild: Hemlock Ridge

Nestled amidst the serene wilderness, our experience at Hemlock Ridge surpassed all expectations. The host's warm hospitality made us feel instantly at home, offering assistance and local insights throughout our stay. The pristine cleanliness of the outhouse was a pleasant surprise, a testament to the meticulous care taken by thr host. As for the campground itself, its secluded setting provided the perfect retreat, offering privacy and tranquility amid nature's splendor. Overall, hemlock is a gem where hospitality, cleanliness, and natural beauty converge for an unforgettable camping experience. Highly Recommend

The Hemlock Ridge

We will be visiting again!

The Hemlock Ridge is perfectly sculpted within its natural surroundings for that reminder of what nature offers each of us. Sean, its host is most kind and attentive, and is imbued with the energy of his surroundings. Sean has created the perfect space to feel secluded and private, yet know just a little civilization is near for those who may not like the true outback feel:):) We will be visiting again!

The Hemlock Ridge

Beautiful property with incredible stars, a lovely stream, and displaying woodcocks. Sean was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here.

Hip Trailer in Hawthorn Grove

Clean and cozy trailer

Sean’s trailer was very cozy and had everything we needed for our weekend trip to Algonquin. The campfire place has the best view at night, perfect for stargazing! The trailer had everything we needed. It also had heat, which was essential for our stay in October cold. It’s isolated and quiet which makes the site very peaceful. Plenty of space to do a cookout during summer. Would love to come back next season :)

Hip Trailer in Hawthorn Grove

The trailer was private, nestled a little down the road from the host's cabin. The trailer was nice, and had enough bedding and everything you would need. The firepit was a short walk from the trailer and was great to use. The trailer was in a great spot, about 15 minutes away from a public beach and 20 minutes from town.

Amazing Spot-Great Value-Kind Host!

Amazing spot. Tucked in the most peaceful acreage in Monteagle Hills. Relax and take it all in at the cutest little getaway! Sean was great for anything we needed! Highly recommend, will be back!
