    We have 40 acres with miles of trails through the property. It is located on the hudson valley wine trail so there are tons of wineries to access. We are in the mountains with great climbing, next to a state park. The campsite is on top of a massive boulder that looks out over the grounds with tons of wildlife surrounding. On a dead end road in the middle of the woods with no other houses within sight. ***PLEASE NOTE: BATHROOMS ARE THE SEASON. A little bit about us. This is a small campground. We do have one Glamping site as well as well as a super luxurious pool house available. We rent small retro RV's as well, see our other listings!! There are 40 acres here to explore with small streams, wetlands and forests. We have 4 modern brand new bathrooms with a hot showers in a beautiful new bathhouse with a charging station for phones and tablets. Its pretty amazing!!!!! We do have sulfur water, its great for your skin but smells! Each site usually has a 2 chairs, a table , a grill and a fire ring..... We also offer 3 vintage campers for a unique glamping experience. We are also a few minutes from Angry Orchard, Gardiner Brewing Company, and Baldwin Vineyards and many many others... Dogs welcome with an additional $20 fee. We can accommodate small vans, popups and RVs as well. Check in is at 3 pm Check out is a strict 12 pm unless prior arrangements have been made. Surrounded by 40 lush acreage of beautiful, undeveloped land. There are plenty of trails to explore.  Inside the pool house is a Smart TV, an electric fireplace, and mini kitchen with utensils, hot plate, and full size refrigerator with free ice. Local attractions such as Sam's Point, Ice Cave Mountain, and Minewaska State Park are all nearby! Visit one of the many wineries or micro breweries just minutes away. Or just drive the local roads; stop for a bite to eat or do some antiquing. No one under 21  permitted in the pool house. Check out is a strict 11 am unless prior arrangements have been made. Dogs welcome with additional $25 cleaning fee.

You will be staying in a 1984 U-Haul vintage camper! SOLAR POWERED Lights! Ultra-Rare! Only 1700 made; and very few left in existence. Sleeps 2. Can also accommodate another tent. The site features a fire ring, picnic table, solar power lighting, BBQ grill, bring your own cooler, and the onsite BRAND-NEW BATHROOMS with hot shower only a short walk away. Firewood is available @ $10 a bundle (no outside wood please) and a fire starter service if you prefer ($40). There is a water spigot by the camp store. We can accommodate small vans and RVs as well. We also offer hiking excursions booked in advance. Check out our other listings!  Please be aware that linens are NOT provided. You must bring linens for a full size bed. There are 2 pillows available in the unit. This is a very small campground of ten camp sites, 1 Glamping site, 3 vintage trailers, and a luxe pool-house that sits in the middle of the 40 acres. We have all the cool stuff like tons around. Restaurants, breweries, wineries, and farms all around. Some farms even let you pick your own fruit! We are close to many state parks, hiking trails, swimming, and fishing.  Angry Orchard is right down the road. A brand-new casino, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, and a water park are just miles away. Lego Land will be opening soon! Wait until you see the starry night sky… It's really amazing here!  When you’re ready to leave the tent explore the 40 acres chock full of nature and small streams . There is a water available at the bathhouse . Fantastic views from local look out points. Stars that fill the night sky and fireflies that twinkle around you.  Still looking for more? We are located just miles from the nearest town we still have all the cool stuff like tons of restaurants, breweries, wineries, and farms all around. You can even pick your own fruit! Forget something? You can probably find it in town. Looking for local attractions? Enjoy the many hiking trails, state parks, swimming, fishing and more! Sam's Point, Ice Caves Mountain, Minnewaska State Park are all nearby! We have a brand-new casino, a brand-new water park, and Lego Land will be opening soon!  Angry Orchard is right down the road.     Richard's campground was great! We were upgraded to the glamping site which was PERFECT for our two large tents, and came with a large tent with a bed and lighting. The bathrooms were nice, and Richard was extremely accommodating and friendly. If we're ever back in the area we'll definitely be staying at Richards campground again!

    We reserved an overnight stay and stayed at Camp Site 3. The site was clean and spacious. The shared bathroom is maintained and cleaned as well. Dan helped and assisted us with the firewood and fire starter. Richard gave us all the information and answered all our questions. It was a wonderful experience overall. I will recommend this place to my friends and we will certainly return here.

    Site 16 - Boulder Point! Spring has Sprung!
    Things I love about this camp could be things others hate. First to note, everything said check in was at 2 but I was told once there it wasn't until 3. The "camp store/ check-in" was closed 100% of the time. All contact was through text messages since they never answered the phone calls. Which didn't bother me and often my prefer method. The only problem is phone service is very spotty for AT&T and Verizon. Which again I would prefer while camping, but not coupled with needing text to contact the host. An employee was watching over the grounds which then became another communication complexity due to only allowed site brought wood. Again I was fine with all this and actually prefer this because I know many who wouldn't. My only complaint would be the sites are a bit tight and made for small tents. We had a struggle getting an area big enough, flat, no roots and not on the neighbors site for our large Teepee. Site 16 was great because it was in the middle of the gounds but only had one site close to it. (Which is one site to many with moody neighbors and we had young kids.) It was "flat" along with all at sites in the back with us all the way to 7. I loved 7 but with construction glad we didn't take it due to lack of tree canopy. It looked like all the campers were gone by 8-9. Around 9-10 am the ground dogs were set free. This was never mentioned! I am so glad my kids are no longer petrified of dogs and they actually love play fetch with the dogs. I would go back

    Site 3 - Boulder Point! Spring has Sprung!
    My friends and I camped here for 3 nights for Labor Day weekend - it was their first time car camping, but Richard's campground was a really good intro to camping for them! The bathrooms and showers with hot water were a luxury, and the friendly dogs graciously accepted pets and peanut butter fingers as bribes to stick around longer. We all loved the space and were glad to have picked site 3 - it's the farthest from the entrance, pretty well hidden from the other sites, and lots of clear space. The only difficulties we had were the slight slope (we had to be creative about our cooking situation) and the rain/dampness (starting a fire was a pain!).

    Great camp ground with really friendly staff. Only downside is, depending on which site you’re at, is that some sites can be quite close.

    Site 1 - Boulder Point! Spring has Sprung!
    We definitely recommend camping at Boulder Point. Rich is kind and everything is really well-organized. We stayed at Site 9 and it was a nice space. There’s a firepit, charcoal grill, and picnic table. Pick Site 1 if you prefer to be a little bit more secluded. Lots of great options here. There are 4 bathrooms and 2 showers. The team came around to check on firewood needs. It was a great balance of being immersed in nature while not feeling completely away from civilization. It was a great experience. Definitely recommend staying here!

    Overall my experience was horrible. I understand I booked last minute but that's no excuse. I purchased 2 bundles of wood because the website.said it would place them at the campsite so it would ready upon arrival. Well after I finally found the address and rode down the unlit , gravel & mud road on my fairly new 23 Harley and got my tent set up next to bathroom & showers ( was the only section of campground with light ) I had to walk to entrance and grab my wood ( in next to complete darkness) And to top it off , no fire because the wood was wet. Would highly NOT recommend this campground.

    Great and private pool house！
    Pool House Glampsite! Spring Time!
    We had a very pleasant weekend there with activities like swimming, bonfires, and barbecues. The pool water was salty, very clean, and constantly circulating. Since the pool was private, it felt very comfortable and secure. The water in the rooms contained hydrogen sulfide, which is said to be a natural hot spring water. Although it took some getting used to, we used it with confidence. The host provided four 500ml bottles of purified water, so we didn't have to worry about drinking water. Richard was very nice and managed everything very professionally. The only suggestion is to ensure that check-in is done at the agreed-upon time (of course, it's understandable that the host needs time to clean up after previous guests)

    Our site, number seven was clean and satisfactory. However had we had neighbors it would have felt cramped. Also there's constrution work being done on the adjacent property which I think will affect the feel of this site once completed.

    We were the only ones tent camping so it was quiet. There was a house being built over on the neighbor’s property right near site 7, which was unexpected to see through the trees from our campsite, but 7 was very spacious with lots of shade and more than enough room for two tents and two energetic toddlers . The bathrooms were appreciated and campsites well kept.

    Toilets and service are worst. Fire wood purchased at the site was damp, we couldn't even hold a camp fire because of that. Tried calling Host but he didn't even respond even after multiple attempts and texts On the name of fire starter he is charging more money Carry your own coal for Barbecue don't purchase at the site

    Site 17 - Boulder Point! Spring has Sprung!
    If you want an experience where you want to be away from the daily hustle and bustle along with being around too many people, this is the place to be! We originally chose site 17 but the owner texted me while I was omw and suggested site 16...so glad he did. I would say just under half of the sites are on a decent slope and site 16 was one of the flatter sites. I read other reviews where others said the owner stopped by to see how everything was but unfortunately we did not see the owner at anytime during our 3 night stay. Overall, it was a nice stay with clean campgrounds and clean bathrooms. This place was great and was off the beaten path but yet there were many attractions around including hikes to the ice caverns, wineries and horse back riding. Thanks!

    Beautiful site! If you are not into hxc camping, maybe try one of Boulder Point’s many other beautiful grassy sites, close to the shower. But as someone who likes to rough it raw no safeword, site 1 was awesome.

    Rich is a cool dude ! Glad I met and chatted ‘ only regret not playing with the cool dogs. Highly recommend this place ! The higher numbers are cool sites and woodsy , 4 was awesome but on a fun slant ! 10 out of 10 . Def coming back !

    Great location-close to awesome hiking, wineries and food! The campground is quiet and has everything you need for a weekend getaway. Richard is very accommodating and responsive. I'll definitely be back!
