WE ARE OPEN Stellar Views and Fresh Waters - New York City has never looked better! The campground is located at (around) Skyline Drive In Movie theater, a unique drive-in cinema experience, at 1 Oak Street in trendy yet relaxed Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Our location is situated on the East River and boasts killer views of the Manhattan Skyline any time of day! The space is a massive open concrete surface lot on the East River. The lot is a private property and is monitored by the 24/7 security in the adjacent building. The subway is 4 blocks away (G Train, Greenpoint Ave stop) which will take you to the city in under 30 minutes. Greenpoint Ferry stop is a few blocks away which will take you to midtown Manhattan in no time! Please note, that you might benefit from using a trucker app called "Trucker Path" while getting here since in some areas of Brooklyn you can't drive an RV. ** Site #'s are not official, you are paying for the accommodation of a hookup or non hookup space, the on-site manager will give you an official site when you arrive**

RV Site D - NO HOOKUPS
Such a NYC Find!! So Awesome.
Our experience here was fantastic. What a great spot with amazing views of the NYC skyline. We parked and walked to restaurants in the Greenpoint neighborhood; an eclectic mix of industrial and residential buildings with a real neighborhood feel. Great restaurants nearby and small grocery stores. Easy access to the subway and ferry to get anywhere in Manhattan and beyond. The bathrooms were cleaned daily, showers had hot water, neighbors were all friendly and from all over the world! Look; you’re camping in a parking lot. It’s concrete. It’s New York City. There’s lots of light and surprisingly not that much noise (particularly compared to my last midtown hotel stay). The view is AWESOME. The host is great. It feels safe to leave your setup and explore. It feels safe all night long. The surrounding streets are buzzing with people coming to and fro, but you’re off the beaten path down what looks like an industrial access to a construction site. Don’t be fooled, it’s great.

RV Site C - under 30ft
Alex the onsite manager was great to deal with. Very later back and easy to talk to. At the time of my visit the location lacked facilities as there was only one bathroom with a shower in it to share with the whole property. But I was informed that a few more were in the process of being completed. The New York City Boondocking experience was amazing! It’s hard to put into words and how beautiful and breathtaking the scenery is from this location. The night view has to be one of the best. Highly recommended.

RV Site A - NO HOOKUPS
The best sleep we had on our travel
Staying here was our favorite of our whole journey! I stayed here with my two kids. It felt safe, it was quiet, it was close to some amazing places to eat, near the ferry and subway. Our host Alex was quick to answer questions and super accommodating. I would 100% stay here again.

Great Urban Camping Spot!
Super convenient place to camp! It was easy walking distance from the subway. We felt very safe staying here in our small teardrop camper with two kids. The bathroom and shower were a bonus! Thanks for having us!

RV Site F - NO HOOKUPS
Drive in theater
Very different type of camping on the fringes of a paved drive-in theater. Although there were no hookups available to reserve, all the sites seemed to have water & power. Very convenient to the greenpoint ferry, but not to subway lines that take you to Manhattan. Best way to get around is by bike in any case!
