Site #3 ONE TENT & PRIVATE
The land was great and the site was private! There were nice trails and they even offered their wood from last season for free, which was an amazing surprise!
Site #3 ONE TENT & PRIVATE
Such a beautiful property to be shared. We were grateful for the convience of location! There is clearly love and care poured into the property. We chose a site hoping for privacy but we could see/hear our neighbors, which wasn't a big deal, it still felt somewhat private. The biggest downfall was the mosquitos, but that's camp life! Would recommend regardless.

Northern Minnesota Adventure
We enjoyed the peace and quiet on Aric and Beth's land. They were attentive and very helpful.
We stayed end of May and weather changed pretty quickly from day to night. We prepared for northern elements and were fine. Packed in/out our food and trash every night. Perfect for our family as we prepare for an eventual BWCA trip.
We had a very mild winter so mosquitoes and ticks were pretty bad but we made the best of it and were diligent about checking for ticks often.
A state park and town for supplies is a short 30min away... Kwik Trip about 15min away. But it's northern Minnesota out in the country.
Highlight of the trip was listening to the wolves howl at night! We stayed smart and safe and had great bonding adventures as a family.
Lots are smaller than they look in pictures but we did fine in site #2. Site #4 would have worked well too. Site #1 and 3 are great for single/couple outings. Site #5 is great for a camper. Portage from parking lot to sites is easy and they have a metal cart available to use.
Our tent is a Coleman Montana 8 and on the large side. We also have a pop-up gazebo for bugs and rain. We plan on going back for future adventures!

Private, peaceful with bugs
We really enjoyed the space itself, it was secluded and quiet with lots of nature nearby. It's about an hour from Duluth which was perfect for us. There were a lot of mosquitos when we visited so make sure to bring bug spray! It was pretty muddy (it rained a lot that weekend). You also have to hike in (not far at all) but I don't remember reading that on the description before booking.

Vehicle Camping Drive In Or Tent
Peaceful camp site
This was an inexpensive and convenient spot to tent camp on our way north. All we needed was a place to put our tent to sleep in. We stopped at a nearby bar to wait out the rain before we set up and then were off to Moose Lake for dinner. The insect sounds and owls hooting sang us to sleep in this peaceful location. The mosquitos were thick but we had no outside plans.

Vehicle Camping Drive In Or Tent
It was a very quiet and beautiful site to stay in! For any mushroom lovers, there were tons of mushrooms all over the walking trails that we had a fun time looking at. We definitely want to stay again!
