Learn more about this land: Get close to nature on a 40 acre farm homesteaded in 1929 by Pauline and Earnest Weatherby, who raised their 2 children and 40 foster kids. Located 6 miles from the Canadian border, Mt. Vedder horse trail is 3 miles away, Nooksack Falls and Mt. Baker are 22 miles, and Silver Lake Park with swimming, fishing and boating is 7 miles away. A Nucanoe and 2 electric bikes are available, see details. Dog supplies, eggs, homemade jellies/jams/dried fruit and seasonal produce available to purchase. There's a big dog park, large undulating meadows, and lots of woods and wildlife. Tent and RV camping. WiFi and water available at the dog park. Chickens and ducks, a vegetable garden, flower gardens, and fruit trees on site. We can provide insight into small sustainable farming, fruit processing, and seasonal canning. Your hosts are Rich and Kathleen and our 5 labs and 2 cats. Historic Aurora Night

Richard was great and the site was even cooler than the photos. Very beautiful open fields with trees, privacy and a spotless outhouse. We enjoyed the smokeless fire pit. Would 100% recommend.

Gorgeous private meadow camping

What an amazing stay! Rich was a kind and attentive host who was accommodating to me and my energetic pup. We had a blast playing fetch in the field and just enjoying the view. We'll be back when the weather is clearer for more Mt. Baker adventures!

Beautiful land to camp on with clean toilet facilities. We loved chatting with Richard about things to do in the area, and even purchased some delicious jelly.
