Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

We are located in Chesapeake VA back in a more rural section. We own a poultry farm and have 40 acres of pasture and 60 acres of trees. There’s tons of wildlife and plenty of farm work if your up for it! This is a private and. Plenty of restaurants, shopping and beach around. We live on the property and around to help with any questions or needs.Pitch a tent in the middle of our pastures, tucked up by the woods or in the woods. Plenty of wildlife and privacy! Get back to nature and soothe your soul. Open fields with nature all around you. The woods are open as well. No hunting allowed. We are located not far from plenty of shopping and restaurants.

Tent Spot

Nice quiet farm fields with views!

Plenty of secluded spots available by exploring the paths into the farm fields. I got there after dark and in the rain, which made navigating a little harder, but Lina was very helpful in talking me to a good spot. Saw a few deer in the field early in the evening. Had a nice cozy fire alongside one of the paths (I brought my own wood as they didn't have any aged at the time, but I think they normally provide wood). I enjoyed some nice stargazing with the wide open views of the sky that also afforded a fantastic sunrise the next morning. There is a correctional facility beyond the farm property that keeps large lights on all night, but they were not at all bothersome through the thick woods and didn't appreciably affect my night sky views. At one point in the evening, I heard some very distant road noise, but otherwise it was completely quiet and peaceful. Great spot!!

Wooded camp site with animals

The host and her family were amazing! Lina kept in contact with us to make sure we had a great time. The only rules were stay on the paths with your vehicles the dogs are not friendly and there are wild animals that do come out of the woods which made perfect sense to me and made everything easier. As soon as I made my reservation I let Lina know what I'm looking for in a site and her recommendation was exactly what we we're looking for. If you have a issue with dogs barking or chickens clucking you probably won't like the wooded site we stayed at, but I loved it. Thank you all again for the amazing opportunity to stay on your land it was gorgeous.

Tent Spot

While there was no defined camping area, only an open yard beside an old house, it was as advertised and Lina was great with communication. She even offered special accommodations due to Hurricane Idalia. Thankfully, I didn't need them and my trip went as planned. Thank you Lina for providing a spot in an area where there are few choices.
