Site 7 - Bus Stop Camp Ground
The Bus Stop was well-kept and well-equipped, with a cool bathhouse, great showers, working wi-fi, good communication. Convenient enough access to Big Bend, and certainly affordable. Unfortunately, we were tent-camping and not prepared for the really really windy evenings, and decided to move on after our first night. Thumbs up, if you don’t mind the wind!

Site 10 - Bus Stop Camp Ground
Large spaces, plenty of room for multiple tents and distance from the neighbors. The hot showers and electricity made it a great stay.

We love it here
5 stars. Clean, comfortable and well priced. Showers are big, which is essential to wash off the sand and dirt of Big Bend hikes! David responded quickly with the problem we had (wind knocked down a powerline, not the camps fault but he kept us updated.) WiFi is reliable and we felt safe the whole time. We will be staying here again. Bath house was SO clean, the doors are made to keep out anything you don’t want in. Plenty of equipment provided to camp in the desert (heavier duty stakes to combat the desert terrain), and amenities you never knew you needed. The sink at the site was a game changer for cleaning dishes after meals. There is a pterodactyl at the top of a mountain that flaps his wings at the top of every hour, that was one of our favorite parts of camp!

Awesome stay! David was very fast at responding with any questions. Good wifi, big enough spot for two cars and giant tent. Great view of stars. Enough bathrooms that there was no wait. Working shower with bench inside to put your stuff. Easy to find spot.

Site 7 - Bus Stop Camp Ground
Wonderful!
This was a great option for camping in Big Bend! Everything was as described on the main page. Site included drinkable water, had plenty of space for more than one tent, had a fire ring. Firewood was for sale on-site (so we didn’t have to go into town); pay via CashApp or Venmo. The bathhouse had multiple toilets and multiple showers, plenty for everyone. The toilet paper was replenished regularly. The campground has nice views of nearby hills, and great views of the sky for stargazing. Would definitely recommend!
