Find peace at this private campsite close to Watts Bar Lake. Nestled in the tall trees, your large, private site features a fire pit, picnic table, and a “Tennessee Bathroom.” Site is nearly 100% shaded all day long. The area is surprisingly quiet. Deer, turkey, turtles, frogs, and cardinals have all been seen on the property. Before you exit your tent in the morning, stay quiet and look out first - who knows what you might see. Parking is right next to the site. Watts Bar Lake is within a few hundred yards and a public boat ramp is just about 3 minutes down the road. Watts Bar is over 72 miles long, 722 miles of shoreline, and is known for good fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, and other recreation. This is a good base for day trips to Knoxville, Chattanooga, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Smoky Mountain National Park. Note: Bring your own tent/supplies, or options include tent and/or propane tank rental. Pack out your own food, animal, and human waste. As this is private property, it is still the woods of Tennessee, so expect all that goes along with that. This property is in development, so added lodging and amenities will come on line in the future. We welcome your feedback. Totally Recommend.

Loved camping on Craigs place it was so perfect! We stopped on the way to SC it was about half way. He was so nice, came out and chatted with us. Would totally recommend this to everyone!!!

Happy Campers

Nice quiet stay just off the back yard. Clean camp spot with nice fire pit including flip top grill. Craig stopped by just to check if we needed anything. Would surely stay again.

Our stay at Shiloh Watts Bar was great!! Craig was every nice and helpful. Peaceful too. We would stay there again. Be careful though, there's deer around. Craig even said that he had to get one off our camping spot.

Shiloh @ Watts Bar - Tent

My wife and I took a trip to the Lost sea in Sweetwater, TN and stayed a night at Craig’s camp site after wards in Rockwood, TN. Craig was very helpful and responsive. We loved our vacation and absolutely loved our stay at the camp site. Craig has a beautiful spot and Rockwood is a beautiful town. Would definitely stay again.

The place was perfect for an overnight adventure spot to rest. Craig has a great set up with privacy and everything we needed to be comfortable while camping. The location was beautiful, safe and clean. We appreciated his hospitality and quick responses to our messages. We will definitely be back to use the location as our base camp for some summer adventures. Thank you!

We loved our night at Craig’s spot! We were just passing through for the night but really wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the space some more. Our dog had plenty of room to stretch her legs and sniff around, and our camper van fit perfectly into the parking spot next to camp. Craig also came out to say hello and we enjoyed chatting for a bit with him! His land is quiet and made for a great night’s sleep.
