Learn more about this land: You’ll cross the covered bridge (clearance 11’6” ) as you enter our farm, a 73 acre small family farm, nestled in the Buffalo Valley of Northeast TN, and featuring a down home country atmosphere. What makes our farm special are all of the unique extras: a working log cabin blacksmith shop, log cabin art gallery, certified commercial kitchen, lots of watchable wildlife, and walking trails. We have a one acre wildlife pond and a smaller pond fed by springs and Buffalo Creek, which runs through the farm. Our small buffalo herd is pastured not far from the campsites and our friendly peacocks and chickens roam the grounds. We also offer classes in blacksmithing, art, foraging and cooking periodically. We are rural but not remote and are minutes away from state parks, fishing, hiking, rafting and other recreational activities as well as downtown Johnson City and Historic Jonesborough with breweries, shops, and many restaurants. As purveyors of Appalachian culture and cuisine, we invite you to stay a day , or longer, to share our friendly and relaxing small farm atmosphere in the mountains.

Beautiful and serene
This was one of the best camping experiences I've ever had! Myself and two other mothers brought our children to camp this weekend for Mother's Day. The host was so welcoming upon arrival and showed us right to our site and even checked in with us throughout the weekend to make sure we were doing okay. The property is absolutely gorgeous with fresh flowers growing everywhere, peacocks roaming, and the bison in the background. There's beautiful walking trails around the bison and a lovely pond that two of the campsites are located right on. I highly recommend this property and these hosts and I will definitely be returning!

10/10 would recommend
My husband and I LOVED our stay at Farmhouse Gallery and Gardens! This farm is huge with plenty of fun features to explore. The bison are so fun to watch in the morning and do NOT miss out on taking a Blacksmith class with Robin! He was the highlight of our stay! We genuinely feel like we made a friend!! 🫶🏼

Amazing!!
Amazing place and people! Pat, Johnny and Robin were so friendly and pleasant to be around! Pat showed us around the different buildings and locations, Johnny showed us to our campsite and Robin not only showed us how he Blacksmiths but he let us make some pieces as well!! He is an excellent teacher and he makes high quality professional pieces for very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this location because of these people! Also the Bison are awesome and they have a 1 week old baby bison! We stay at site 6 and we had the whole field to ourselves. Very private and peaceful, would definitely recommend to all! Enjoy!

Best Camp Yet!!
Pat's hipcamp was just what i needed for a weekend getaway! Stayed at site 6, and i have to say it was just the best private spot. A short walk to see the Buffalos. Perfect time to see a newborn baby buffalo!! So adorable. The views, the creek, and the land was just perfect!! An hidden bamboo jungle was mind blowing, on how tall bamboo get!! The peacocks were my favorite. Love their scream! Sounds like they are about to burst out laughing. Lol. I missed out on the farmers market, but Pats granola cookies were so delicious!! I will definately be coming back at this site in the fall!!

Yea, stay here!
I loved this property! It was mowed right before we arrived, and chopped the wood for us! There is a great walking path around the property past the Buffalo pasture. We were treated to feeding the buffaloes and received great hiking recommendations. I encourage anyone to come and stay here! Safe, quiet and private!

Had a great stay! We arrived late at 11pm but they were kind enough to wait up and show us our spot. Had the field to ourselves and woke up to beautiful pond, peacocks and bison. Clean bathrooms and beautiful spot. Thank you!
