Site 9 - The Goodson Forest Estate
Convenient location
Very basic which is what we look for. Perfect location to explore Congaree! The camp is under construction so we made allowances for appearance. I would definitely stay again and would recommend! On a corner lot easy to get our 32’ rig and truck in and out. Convenience stores with fuel within 5 minutes. Had Site 3 with FHU. Verizon cell service was okay and 19 OTA TV stations. T-Mobile MiFi worked well.

Your own town Park!
Park like, quiet, no other campers and he had wood by the fire ring for us. Still a bit rustic because David is developing this property. We had everything we need. Highly recommend it.

Would tent again!
I had the pleasure of staying on Davids property for the night. I came to SC for a day music festival. I picked spot 1 which was nice and flat for my tent. There were a few RVs pulled in but no issues with my neighbors. There is a gas station right up the street if you need snacks/restroom before its late. It is next to a main road so there is a bit of traffic noise but other than that had a nice sleep over. Thanks David!

Our stay was great!! David was a great host. Nice clean and quite camp ground, with full hook ups. David is working to expand his camp ground to accommodate more camp sites. Would definitely recommend if your in the area.

The Goodson Forest Estate - 450d
If you have an rv and are just looking for a place to park that has hook ups and is close to Congaree National Park, this is the place for you.
I would not recommend if you have to use the outdoor facilities, but otherwise. David was very helpful and communicative.

A perfect spot near Congaree!
David was an amazing and super communicative host. He checked in before our arrival and greeted us in person to help us get settled. We are traveling with an off-road trailer and roof-top tent and have our own toilet/portable shower/hot water/jerry cans, etc so we did not need the RV hook ups and were therefore able to camp closer to the tree line and feel a bit more secluded. We were there only a short time as we were in the vicinity just to check out Congaree National Park. It was perfect for that. From David we also go a bit of the area's and his family's history (integrally linked) and also a sense of his great vision for his property. A wonderful stay all around.
