Creekside Tent site
10/10 experience!!!!
10/10 recommend! We tent camped down by the creek! Unfortunately we came on a day where it had rained earlier so the ground was a bit wet closer to the creek, but we picked a site that was dry! It was very nice that there were porta potties right by us, so that if we had to get up in like the middle of the night we could just go right over. The showers and real bathrooms were within walking distance too. Our dogs had a great time there, too! There were plenty of sticks to play with. It was nice and close to hiking trails in Lehigh Gorge State Park and within 30 mins of Jim Thorpe, which is an amazing town that we recommend visiting!

Mountaintop Tent site
Pocono Point, FTW
Enjoyed mounting the mountaintop. Arrived late, after booking that day. No instructions waiting for us, but was able to reach help quickly. He had some concern about HipCamp (apparently had troublesome experience with HipCamp and payments, and asked me to pull up my bank statement). Drove through community of RV campers, and made it to empty hill site. It is big, with some surrounding highways, but we parked near a little firepit, and enjoyed very peaceful night (it was late March, so the year round option is nice). There is also 24/7 rec center access. $40 per night.

Creekside Tent site
Creekside Camp with my dog
I did a Truck camp by the creek with my beautiful dog Sierra. We were the only ones camping that day, so it was great...had the whole creek to ourselves. The host showed up to collect the payment, hipcamp somehow didn't pay them. So I payed him cash...then got charged by hipcamp a few days later. Still trying to remedy that issue....so fyi, just be aware. I'm sure they will make good on it... the guy was very nice. I would recommend for a nice camp by some water. Not a very private/secluded site, but nice and relaxing by the creek. Check out my Youtube channel Gunnar 606 for the video I did of my camp here.
