Triple D Retreat
Lovely site
We had a terrific time a Triple D Retreat. Even though it’s off a back road it felt very remote. It was so nice to purchase firewood from Frank ( the owner ) and having it waiting at our site. Grounds are very clean and spacious. Outhouse was clean and convenient. Definitely recommend!

Triple D Retreat
Excellent land! Perfect to pitch a tent (plenty of location options) but also with a covered picnic table and latrine for some creature comfort. Great trees for hammocks too. Close to the road, but we saw 5 cars max in 2+ days. Directions to location are perfect; easy to find. Great for weekend getaway.

Triple D Retreat
Fantastic camp site!
The site was fantastic! It was very spacious and private with nice walking trails on the property. The pavilion was a great feature. It was close to Lake Hope, the Moonville tunnel, and the Zaleski state forest trails. We will definitely come back and would highly recommend this location. The host was very responsive to all questions and even brought us extra firewood.

Triple D Retreat
The shelter saved our trip!
The campground and surroundings were beautiful and we felt secluded. The road is close as others have said in the reviews, however, just like them we only saw maybe a couple of cars a day, so no big deal.
We went to the campground and got there at night, and the forecast had not called for rain. However, it was raining and we unloaded all of our things under the shelter. For the rest of the trip there was supposed to be rain only on one day however, it rained every day we were there and the saving grace was the shelter house that was actually pretty nice because we could hear the melody of the rain on a tin roof.
We are able to make a fire in the fire ring with the firewood, that we bought and had waiting for us, and it worked out great.
The outhouse was very clean and a welcome addition to a primitive camping experience.
We would 100% stay here again and appreciated a great experience and excellent service!

We will be back
Wonderfully secluded campsite. Beautiful fall colors and shelter house which kept us dry from the rain. We will definitely be back.

Easy, clean, camping weekend
This place was great! Easy to find, clean, and perfect on a rainy weekend with the shelter to cook under. We had a wonderful time.
