Located in the middle of Wayne National Forest and surrounded by the Baileys Trail System. Local attractions include Hocking Hills, Ohio University and many other Southeastern Ohio treasures. We purchased this beautiful piece of property in 2016 to be used primarily as a family hunting camp. Over the years we have continued to improve the land and make it a cozy get-a-way. The land host abundant wildlife and amazing views. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Ridge Top Site 1

This was a long anticipated weekend away from our busy lives and was well worth the wait! Bailey's Basecamp is a nice, secluded, and remote campsite that provides all you need for primitive camping. The host provided water at the ridge and helped with our luggage coming and going. Even helped after we had went grocery shopping! At night, you can hear the wonderful nature night sounds clearly, including the occasional hoot hoot of an owl and the lowly call of a whiporwill. Plenty of shade and level ground to pitch a tent. Nearby trails for those who like to go on walks/hikes. Definitely do pack hiking boots and a walking stick! You'll thank me later. The walk to the bathrooms is rather steep but with patience and the right resources, you get used to it and rewarded after accomplishing it! I would definitely recommend this campsite to anyone and certainly hope to come back soon. We were referred to try out Gigi's Cafe, a few miles away, upon our departure, and were not disappointed! Thank you for hosting us and being so accommodating! 10/10

Best dam camp in the land!

My family and I had a great time at Baileys base camp. It’s well secluded and quiet. Keith and Ross were easy to get a hold of and we’re the best host. Helped us get our camping gear up the hill when getting there and down the hill when we left. The hill to get up to the top is steep. But honestly you get used to it after a couple trips up or down. Just take your time. The camp site is worth going up the hill. We will be back and can’t wait to stay here again!
