Close but no cigar
The site is not as private as it appears in pictures. We were unable to fit our rooftop tent under the tree branches. The site was small, so our only option was to park perpendicularly close to the campsite driveway and entrance road. I was not comfortable being out in the open with other campsites close by. On the positive side, the sound of the waterfall was nice, communication was good with Lorri, and she was helpful in returning our site fee.

Tranquil Creekside Camping Retreat
This land is in a great location, being just a few miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and about 30 minutes from downtown Asheville. Site #1 is the best on the property. It’s a beautiful creekside site that can fit two tents (4pax) and has space for the provided fire pit, as well as your own folding tables and lawn chairs. There's easy access for any vehicle down a well-maintained gravel road, and it's very peaceful with the sound of the small river rapids nearby. The restroom facilities are close by and managed by Lorrie and her husband. We had the chance to meet both of their dogs, who were very sweet and welcoming to our own fur ball. Lorrie was very generous, making sure we had firewood each night and checking in to ensure we had a wonderful stay before we departed. We will definitely be back to this lovely creekside oasis in the mountains.

Camping on the Creekside
My fiance and I stayed right next to the creek. The land was so full of life and very clean. Definitely be careful with the weather. Rain could get you stuck. Directions were great and I'd definitely stay again. We enjoyed the views and the sound of the creek. Had other campers in the area but couldn't hear them. The only time we saw them was when the fires were going. Otherwise all around peaceful.

Great time, Privacy & Accessibility
A very amazing, healing place to rest. Loved it.
There is minimal light pollution, and the stream is the perfect white noise. The hosts give you a very good deal on nice, seasoned firewood, which add to experience of the land.
The land itself is very beautiful aswell. A large field, nested between a mountain and a stream. The drive down the driveway shows the large cow pasture that lies beyond the stream. The land actually has a good bit of history and I would encourage campers to ask host about it.
The sites are very accessible , and an outhouse is not far from the campsites. Host allows access to well water aswell.
Perfect mix of privacy and seclusion with access ability to an urban area. Other people live in the area, but it doesn’t feel like they are there.
