Dispersed Meadow Camping
Could not find the property. The location where the pin dropped on google maps had a locked gate. Not sure if we had the right spot, but we couldn’t get in and the host did not respond to any messages. Had to search for another place to camp in the dark and rain, ended up at Cool Lea’s campground. We still haven’t heard from Barry and it’s 2pm the following day. Pretty disappointed and out $30

Easy, Comfortable, & Cool, Campsite
What a cool little Campground! These folks have a great little parcel of land, and they've just begun to invite guests to stay on it.
If they have open availability for your stay, don't hesitate to book!
I think i might've been one of the first to rent a space, and the hosts were very accommodating.
i hiked the property and was amazed at all the different geography, as well as the abundant Flora & Fauna. Even found a few wild blackberry patches! i think i lost my socks!
Gentle hills, deep gullies, canopied forests, and sprawling wildflower meadows, all on one property! One edge of the property is bordered by a state route, as well as a train track that follow a bend. Traffic was minimal, and not very noticeable, from most of the land. The Train came by around 9am, and 2pm, and was really neat to see, as it chugged on by!
All in all, i had a great experience. i will absolutely come again.

Nonstop car/ATV noise all weekend
I want to start off by saying the host was fantastic. He answered all my questions in a timely manner, sent me a text with the geo-location, and sent me an email with a very detailed description of the property. He also texted me once I arrived on Friday night to make sure everything was ok, as he couldn’t be there to show me around.
We got lucky and were the only campers on site, which meant we got our pick of campsites and free reign of the place without concern of other families. We were able to pitch our tent in the woods, near one of the campervans the owners have, because they weren’t staying there.
That being said, the location itself was less than ideal. You could see the highway from the field where most of the campsites were, and cars were driving by at 65 mph nonstop from 7am to past 10pm. That was not mentioned in the listing which I was frustrated by, as I felt deceived. In addition to regular traffic, there were ATV’s driving around all day Saturday, from about 8am till about 9:45pm. We tried to escape the noise by hiking up the hill a bit to hang our hammocks and relax, but it was inescapable. Between the cars and the ATV’s, there were very few moments of uninterrupted nature longer than 5 minutes. One of our party even left Saturday evening because she wasn’t able to sleep well with the cars flying by, and the rest of us shared earplugs one of us brought. Sunday morning those of us not woken up by the cars or ATVs which stared revving their engines by 8am had our wake up call from the incredibly loud train right next to the highway, which blared it’s horn at 8:15am.
One saving grace was the view of the night sky, but again the peaceful was disturbed by the cars.
Due to the proximity to the highway and noise pollution, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We had the whole property to ourselves. My dog and I really enjoyed hiking the woods (even flushed a few grouse). I was so glad the host told me I would need four-wheel-drive to access the meadow where we would have room to turn our 22’ camper around, or we would have possibly gotten stuck after the rain trying to get back out. Some slate/stone added to the low spot would be a good idea for improving access.

The camp site was well maintained and the host was very friendly and communicative. There were nice ripe berries throughout the meadow. On the other hand, all the camp sites are right net to the road which is very loud throughout the day, a freight train also comes through about 400 feet away from the campsite.
