Wide open desert with history. In the 1800s the area was prospected for lead and silver. It was also used as farmland decades ago, and now is infamous for it's world class night skies and Area 51 air force installation. Although you can see planes taking off towards the Nellis Bombing Range, or see jetfighter training exercises or even test flights, the US Government still hasn't acknowledged the existence of the facility... that you are not allowed to enter. This is also a UFO hotspot and required visiting for those that believe Earth may have visitors.  This land means a lot to a lot of different people. For some, it means peace from city life. For others, it is the perfect setting for reflection on your life. Many find it to be the kind of adventurous or challenging tent camping they've sought. You'd be foolish not to count yourself among those the photographers, amateur astronomers, or souls that enjoy the continental United States' "darkest skies" with the least amount of light pollution in this part of the world.  Some simply like camping and getting free air shows. Finally, if you enjoy UFO stories or stories of our men in black, there is an itinerary for you here that nowhere else can provide. This area is on many "independent researchers" must-visit list.  If all that weren't enough, there is an indescribable feeling of bedding down for the night in this valley. Maybe 100% of people don't feel it, but so many past visitors who have spent the night near the Extraterrestrial Highway (the real name of Nevada State Route 395 that this land is accessible from) can vouch for it. RV/Camper Vehicle Highly Recommended. Lowest light pollution in the USA! Raw beauty in the desert for adventurous souls. Nature is balanced by the 'secret military' jet planes that tear across the sky randomly from Area 51. Different kinds of folks will enjoy this very unique spot.  The most outdoorsy types looking for something new, travelers on spiritual journeys, and those with equipped RVs will appreciate this unique stay. (Let's not forget, fans of UFOs and/or seeing Government secrets also get a unique kick out of this place. Check out the pictures and read more about this listing! There are zero hookups. This is raw land. There are very limited amenities (read the rest of the listing and view pictures), but a travel vehicle with the basics is VERY HIGHLY recommended. FINDING THE PROPERTY: Before your booking date, you will be sent a trove of information. This includes a guided step-by-step picture map of how to reach the property from the highway. To further eliminate any doubt, there is a video available that shows the full, entire, real time drive (from highway to property) that pauses at landmarks to show you how to get to the property. Anyone who has reviewed this information before attempting to reach the property has had zero trouble finding it. If you wait till you're out in the middle of the desert at night to review this information and find that you are on a network with no cellphone signal... you're playing life on hard mode and you may encounter difficulties finding the campsite. 10 minutes of prep before your journey will go along way. Other Notes: Please do not shine laser lights at aircraft, or on to land that is not included in this property. Highly NOT recommended.

Jet planes and optical phenomenon a
I absolutely adored staying here. Off the top note, make sure you only pick this site if you are comfortable backcountry camping style. There is a bucket toilet and a fire pit with wood provided. The rest is up to you. I love the superb silence out there. I was fortunate yo have amazingly clear skies and enjoyed looking at celestial objects with my telescope. During the day I got to hear the odd sound that jet fighter planes make, hear the big boom of them breaking the sound barrier, and watch fly low and high all across the sky. I can see why people think there's alien activity. At night, it must be distance and optical illusions but orb lights will appear in places you don't thinere are toad. They will swim pulse movement in directions. It looks holy unnatural and again I can see why people would think aliens. It is fin to experience such a visual distortion. I think there's a good number of night patrolling from the military so there was plenty to see. The directions were perfectly clear and it was easy for me to find the site. They have signage at the location to clearly mark it and a solar powered motion detection light for at night. I appreciated the firewood and enjoyed a fire at sunset. That was a lovely addition. Overall thoroughly enjoyed staying here

Wow..so beautiful clean pristine piece of land . It was cloudy/sun was perfect weather for us and it rained at night, so freaking cool listening the rain drops inside our 2023 Tundra with camper shell and heated blanket 🤣🤣. Would highly recommend Alex alien site!!

Great spot but not for the faint of heart, nothing but desert and a small pull out. The back gate is an 8 mile bike ride that is a little tricky to navigate but not terrible. suggest going during a Red Air Event or a moonless night period thats when they conduct "Blackout" operations but be prepared if you want to try to catch a "One of a kind" A/C it will most likely not fly until after midnight. Another thing to keep an eye out for is while scanning the sky overhead watch for spots of starless areas that seam to move. You can only guess what you may be looking at? Overall awesome host and great time off the Extraterrestrial Highway

Perfect sky watching desert spot!
This was the perfect spot for our family! We don’t need amenities, we like privacy and space and we got just that. It was easy to find with the directions and even had cell coverage. It would be tougher in the dark but we didn’t have to do that. We camp in a teardrop trailer with our own composting toilet for reference.

Incredible!
Exactly as described. Pretty primitive but there are plenty of little marts and grocery stores along the way from Vegas. It was exactly what we were looking for and highly recommend! As long as you follow the directions you’re good to go!

The great outdoors
This was such an amazing experience. We would highly recommend it. First of all, it is an adventure to find it. Second, we have never whitnest a night with so many stars. Amazing. The silence and datkness is really impressive. All together, do not hestitate. Go, adventure will do you good. And of you have any issues: kust call Alex, he will help you out right away.
