Tents/Buffalo Creek at Newell Lodge
Very nice spot. Very roomy so you don’t have to camp close to anyone if you don’t want to. Close proximity to the east side of the okefenokee swamp. Only thing I would add is be ready for lots of bugs but that’s pretty much expected camping around the swamp. We enjoyed our stay.

Loved camping here! Such a beautiful location & peaceful, even with other campers. Perfect for a road trip night’s stay en route to our final destination. Ashley was very accommodating & her father super helpful & informative.

Camping with the Kiddo
I’m almost hesitant to tell people about this place because it’s such a hidden gem! This spot has everything you need to have a dreamy camping experience without going totally rustic. Ashely is a great (and patient!) host who is willing to accommodate your every camping need. We had a great time!

Had a great time
We had a great time. Very peaceful and quiet, our only neighbors were the friendly horses. Staff was friendly and accommodating. For things to do, the Okefenokee is close by and the beach is only a hour away. Definitely load up on bug spray.
