Canyonland Bliss
Beautiful, Comfy, Close Get-Away
It was awesome to be able to have such a nice spot close to town. I really appreciated the poo tent as not having one has always been a downer with previous camping trips .
My Bichons loved the creek and open area near the site. The other sites were distant enough that you couldn't hear each other too much. I'm a beginner and have only car camped before so the hill/trek to the site was not my favorite ( I work out 5x a week so not I'm afraid to do some cardio). I personally would want a wagon next time, just for easier set up for being a newb.
The hosts that stopped by were extremely friendly and gracious enough to extend our stay for the next night. Unfortunately, our basic/old gear was not adequate to stay dry during the rainy night so we declined to stay another day. I'll 100% return with better gear once it warms up.

River's Edge
Great campsite and distance away from other sites. Very clear instructions on how to get to the main trail and there’s a luggable loo available

Canyonland Bliss
Lovely site, so nice to have the creek close by! A small amount of noise from the road, but not much- it’s tucked back and feels private. Wooded but enough clear spaces for stargazing. Great instructions and communication, and so convenient to Boulder and Nederland.

What a perfect spot to write!
I wanted to get away from the city for a few days to recenter in nature and indulge in an uninterrupted stretch of writing time. This spot proved to be a beautiful fit for such intentions with its lush, serene landscape, complete with a moss-lined creek babbling through the property. A truly unique find in Colorado.
Though it was no fault of the owner, and I could've done more research to understand the exact location, it's important to note the spot is very close to a road that is quite well-traveled at certain times of day. I could even hear cars swishing by very early in the morning while I was trying to sleep. Not a big deal, but if you really want to feel you are getting away, road sounds can be a bit jarring.
Staying in a traditional Himalayan yurt felt like a rare and magical experience, though I wish I would've brought some lights, as there really wasn't any working light source.
I would absolutely return, though with a few additional camping items. Ultimately, this was a rare and beautiful find close to Denver. Thank you for the opportunity!

Canyonland Bliss
Beautiful tent camping site off of the main road. Sound of the creek was lovely to sleep to. Canyonland Bliss is a bit of a walk compared to the other site (only 1-2 minutes). No service, prepare for that!
