This beautiful property sits on the banks of the Fourche La Fave (pronounced Foosh La Fay)  River. This 151 mile long river was once the grounds of the Caddo Native American Tribe. The river is now home to a wide variety of wildlife, and offers multiple species of fish. Scott County is over 70% public national forest, with thousands of acres of public land available for the outdoor enthusiast. Though this property has the look and feel of woods and river camping, there is actually a 24 hour convenience store less than two miles away just in case you need a midnight snack!    Learn more about this land: Beautiful flowing river for swimming, fishing, canoeing. Nice open air pavilion with power,  LED lighting and a large picnic table. Firepit with added grill for cooking right at the rivers edge.  Dedicated hammocking area overlooking the river, or have some friendly competition with a game of Bag-O game (boards provided).  This area offers a wide open space for exercising, walking/bike riding along a country road, or just relaxing by riverbank.  Want a little more adventure? This area boasts an expansive network of country dirt roads and trails for your ATV/UTV, and is less than five miles from the Ouachita National Forests' Fourche Mountain Trail. All this but still close to civilization. A 24 hour convenience store is less than two miles from the campsite. This quaint little spot has a lot to offer!  Beautiful flowing river for swimming, fishing, canoeing. Nice open air pavilion with power,  LED lighting and a large picnic table. Yearling Ridge Riverfront Camp
We had not tent camped in quite sometime. A decade or more. Daniel's place checked all of our boxes and was the perfect place for us to get back into camping. Daniel is an awesome host, met us shortly after our arrival and made sure we had plenty of firewood then he left us to enjoy his wonderful place. His property is beautiful, private and has a park like feel by having well mowed areas with natural edges. Our old dog had the best time exploring and it was easy to keep an eye on her. It is truly riverside and the sound of the rushing water was incredibly peaceful. Star gazing was amazing, we heard owls every night and saw many blue birds by day. The lighted pavilion with picnic table was a great place to make meals and having electricity, a functional sink to do cleanup and the mini fridge is super convenient. It has 3 electrical boxes and water spigots to choose from which is great for wherever you choose to set up camp. We did hear a little bit of highway 71 noise but the sound of the water mostly drowned it out and was quiet in the evenings when traffic slowed. The upside is it is only 2 miles to the 24 hour convenience store on a well maintained gravel road that any type of vehicle could easily travel. We couldn't get android/TMobile connectivity but could with iPhone/Verizon but honestly, the phones weren't missed as we went there to unplug. We loved Daniel's property and are thankful to him for sharing it. We'll return often. Thanks Daniel, see you again soon!

Gorgeous spot next to the river
We were so fortunate to have the opportunity to watch the eclipse from this gorgeous site. We had the entire property to ourselves with plenty of room for our dog to explore. Daniel was an excellent host and there were many touches that made the campsite extra special such as running water and the river close by. We took advantage of the canoe rental and really enjoyed the river. We highly recommend this special spot.

This place was beautiful!! Pictures are nice but really don’t do it justice. We were right on the river. Plenty of room to cook, fish, explore and relax. Daniel was a great host. We hope to come back soon.

Yearling Ridge Riverfront Camp
By far one of the best Hipcamps we’ve stayed at. It was very easy to find, and get to. Plenty of space for parking out 26” Class C. There were two parking spaces we chose to choose from. It was very private although there was some work happening on the street it didn’t affect our stay at all. Our two dogs loved the space. From the gazebo, to the provided kayaks, to the lake only 50 feet away it was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again. Although we didn’t meet James, he checked in on us a couple of times to make sure we were doing okay and also offered to provide more firewood than the ample amount that was there on our arrival. 10/10

My only regret is not being able to stay longer! But even just one night was so relaxing and rejuvenating. This site along the river is utterly spectacular, my dog and I both had a great time and hope to be back one day!
