Goren Farm in England

Goren Farm, on Stockland Hill in Devon has 70 acres of wildflower meadows and woodland. spectaacular views and a very quiet location. We allow all the fields to flower and go to seed before harvesting the seed and making hay. This encourages a lot of wildlife that share the meadows too. There is a lot of arears to explore including hedgerows, streams and woodlands. The 2 orchard grow apples for apple juice and cider on the original press dating back to 1750. The farm has a nature trail and an adventure trail which are free to use for campers. We use a small herd of traditional breed Devon cattle and a small flock of sheep to manage the meadows. There are plenty of local walks and footpaths and 2 local pubs. we have a small cafe and shop at the farm and stock some farm produce including ciders and bits for camping as well as fire wood for firepits. It is not far from the beaches of Lyme Regis, Beer and Sidmouth where there are a lot more tourists and things going on.
