Trapper Arts Retreat in NW Wisconsin has (3) waterfront sites and (1) wooded site. Located on a 1/4 mile long dead-end road (except Bob Lake West) on a 90 acre clear water no-wake lake and only 5 minutes from the Chippewa County Forest! The Chippewa County Forest (over 10,000 acres) Hickory Ridge Trailhead is located about 5 miles away. You can enjoy miles of hiking, biking, ATV or horseback riding trails. Trails wind past small lakes and beaver ponds, as well as spectacular vistas and abundant wild life. LIST OF SITES (all of our sites now include a portable toilet, firewood, fire ring, water, power, picnic table and/or chairs). BIRCH Waterfront is named for the beautiful birch trees that frame your view of the lake that also includes soothing evening loon sounds :) It is our medium size campsite with a level gravel and grass pad with lakefront access via the long wooded dock and an included row boat for fishing and boating. EAGLE POINT Waterfront is a favorite because it is the most private, surrounded by trees and is on a elevated waterfront lot with steps down to a dock. This site has a canoe and a row boat and the best spectacular sunset views. The eagle's nest is in a tall pine tree above the steps! BOB LAKE WEST Waterfront is our only site that is not on this dead end road. It is located on the west side of the lake near the boat landing. This site has a bonus small storage shed which could be a cool kids cabin. It is partially wooded elevated site with stunning sunrise views. WOODED RUSTIC is a non-waterfront campsite for both tents or RV's that has been updated to a level site with power and water and includes access to the lake and a row boat at our common access which is only about 200 yards down the road from this site. RV's can park on the gravel pad and tent guests can setup down the walking trail in the woods. This property was previously owned by Trapper Art who was well known in the area and started several successful businesses dating back to 1967 including Art's Snowmobile, Trapper Arts, and Art's Electric which was quite an accomplishment in the Wisconsin Northwoods!

Bob Lake - Birch Waterfront
Great camping experience!!
The site was as described! It was clean, neat and spacious! The owners stopped by several times to see if we needed anything and offered lots of help. They brought us a splitter for their water supply so we could hookup both trailers! Awesome place, we'll be back to Bob Lake!

Bob Lake - Eagle Point Waterfront
Eagle point site was awesome! Hosts were very helpful, brought fire wood and very nice people. Views of the lake are incredible. Loons on the lake followed the boat around. Fishing was great also. Definitely would stay here again.

Bob Lake - Birch Waterfront
Absolutely loved camping here! The site is spacious, very secluded, and offers beautiful views of Bob Lake. We saw lots of wildlife during our stay, including two swans that swam right up to the dock. The hosts were great and brought us dry wood everyday. Couldn’t recommend this place more, especially for folks with dogs! Our dogs loved it! We will definitely be coming back.

Bob Lake - Eagle Point Waterfront
Beautiful site
The pictures really don’t do it justice. It’s a very beautiful location right next to the lake. Great view of sunrises and sunsets. We had three couples staying in the area which included an RV two tents and a screen tent, and we still have lots of space. There was firewood at the site, and when we started to run low, they brought more over for us. It had a really long water hose that reached way across the site. Made it easy for getting water. We didn’t use the robot or the canoe but they were there ready for us to use if we wanted. Maybe it’s because of it being the beginning of the camping season, not sure, but the Porta potty was nice and clean with extra toilet paper stored in there. I would return.

Wooded Rustic with Lake Access
The place is great, private, wood included and dogs run free. Just remember to bring mosquito spray and you will be fine.
