Solomon's Garden

Solomon's Garden is a 5 acre homestead located in the Black Warrior River valley. Our homestead operates as both a private home and a homestead training ground where folks from urban locations come to learn to live on the land, grow food, develop agricultural skills and design their plans for land stewardship.  We take pride in our connection to and reverence for the land and love to share the experience.

Island Camping on Tenn Tom River

10 sites · Tents8 acres · Columbus, MS
Country living in the city. Oversized, eight acre lot on the old channel of the Tombigbee River. Lot is situated on the Island in downtown Columbus. Lot sits in a bend that has beautiful and rare, long views of the river. Floating dock attached to a 40' gangway that walks into the gazebo at the top. Would normally have to drive to a rural area for this kind of experience.

40 acres with two small streams. Mostly forest with some open land. Very quiet and isolated but only 1.8 miles west off MS HWY 25 which is a 4 lane HWY from Starkville to Jackson. We have 110, 30W and 50 W outlets at west end of barn. We have 15 or more campsites scattered around the barn. We have water at the side of the barn and a full bath in the barn. On the south side of the property which is 1/4 mile south of the barn, we have additional camping in a mostly forested area but no bathroom or water.

Ruth's Living Dream

10 sites · RVs35 acres · Greenwood Springs, MS
Mississippi Art & Wine Gallery is on 20+acres, with a growing vineyard, off the beaten path but well worth the drive. We have awesome wine, great art, a U drive parking lot. Camp in parking lot or in the woods. Plenty of dry camp space. Quiet neighborhood, with the nearest town 15 minutes. Happy Camping! The property is somewhat of a square with walking trails and rolling hills. We have a nice winery as well as a growing/expanding vineyard. We have the only bunch grape vineyard in Mississippi to my knowledge, we also grow blueberries and blackberries. There are lots of flat spots for a camper.
