We are just getting started with this so you’ll be able to help us from the ground up. If we are not in a burn ban you’re welcome to have a campfire. There will be opportunities to call up a wild coyote or watch some mule deer or an occasional antelope stroll by. You could even be awakened by the horses on their way to water in the morning and we can set up some horse riding if we have enough notice to schedule time off from the 9-5 haha. Set between the plains and the desert, historic Amarillo has plenty to explore. From your RV park or tent site, you can explore Route 66 and the quirky Cadillac Ranch. Or, go all Wild West with a ranch camp and a horseback ride through a canyon. With 250 sunny days a year, it’s always camping season.

Camp among rugged red-rock canyons in Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Book pull-thru RV sites with partial hookups, or hike into primitive tent sites. You can even rent stunning stone cabins on the canyon rim or floor. Hike and bike 30 miles of trails, or take a guided ride from the on-site stables.
