It sits on 5 wooded acres and nearly a full acre of cleared land is fenced, making it safe for dogs to run off leash. The house sits within the fenced in acre so you can conveniently open the doors and let your dogs run free. There is one visible house across the street from the front of the cabin but it feels very private in the back of the house. There is a firepit. There are two outbuildings onsite that are not available for rent at this time. The cabin is 20 mins from Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Mountain House, and 35 mins from Kingston, New Paltz, Gardiner, Phonecia and Woodstock. We have 40 acres with miles of trails through the property. It is located on the hudson valley wine trail so there are tons of wineries to access. We are in the mountains with great climbing, next to a state park. The campsite is on top of a massive boulder that looks out over the grounds with tons of wildlife surrounding. On a dead end road in the middle of the woods with no other houses within sight. ***PLEASE NOTE: BATHROOMS ARE CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. A little bit about us. This is a small campground. We do have one Glamping site as well as well as a super luxurious pool house available. We rent small retro RV's as well, see our other listings!! There are 40 acres here to explore with small streams, wetlands and forests. We have 4 modern brand new bathrooms with a hot showers in a beautiful new bathhouse with a charging station for phones and tablets. Its pretty amazing!!!!! We do have sulfur water, its great for your skin but smells! Each site usually has a 2 chairs, a table , a grill and a fire ring..... We also offer 3 vintage campers for a unique glamping experience. We have a 1984, a 1975 and a 1966 all with solar electric lighting. Running water is located at the camp store. Take a look at our listings or ask me. Bask in the tranquility of peaceful sunsets and abundant wildlife, and indulge in kayaking adventures on the lake. Please note that swimming in the lake is not permitted due to town regulations. Surrounded by hiking trails, swimming holes, and charming bars and restaurants, there's plenty to explore nearby. Our cabin is completely off-grid, with no running water. The sink operates using a foot pump faucet, and we provide a compost toilet (non-flushing) for your convenience. Electricity is supplied by a battery, ensuring a rustic yet comfortable stay. Stay cozy with our cute cubic wood stove, fueled by firewood provided for both the stove and the fire pit. The cabin has 2 twin beds stacked one over the other. At night, they can be configured as a king-size bed. The labeled box on the shelf contains a gap filler when converting 2 twin beds into a king-size bed. In the small kitchen, an off-grid water system with a foot pump faucet and enamel sink provides 5 gallons of unheated water. Basic cooking can be done on the camping stove provided, and we offer drinking water from our well. The kitchen is stocked with essential cooking supplies. Remember, this is an off-grid cabin with no running water, and electricity is provided by battery, so please be mindful of our limited power supply and refrain from using high-energy items such as hairdryers or electric heaters. During colder months (November to May), the composting toilet is moved inside the cabin, and there is no shower available. From June to November, an outdoor toilet and shower are provided. Find inspiration or relaxation in various spaces around the cabin, including a beautiful desk inside, cozy Adirondack chairs on the porch, a deck overlooking the lake, or a hammock in the woods. We offer Wi-Fi for your convenience. Important reminders: Keep food and garbage inside the cabin to avoid attracting wildlife. Clean your pet's paws before entering the cabin, and keep them supervised at all times. Please refrain from smoking inside the cabin and inviting visitors without consulting us. There are three private bedrooms, two bathrooms, and the fourth "bedroom" is actually a sleeping loft with a ladder, open to the great room below. The base rate is for 4 guests. The house accommodates 8+ guests with an additional cost per guest (approximately $50/night/guest). It's a great place to get away. Use the house as your base for various hiking excursions, ice climbing, local event hopping, skiing, or simply relax and enjoy nature. There are four ski mountains all within a 40-minute drive. In the summer, enjoy the pool and tennis court, sit on the porch and read, or attend local festivals at Hunter or Woodstock. Other activities include Belleayre Beach, tubing down the Esopus Creek, fly fishing, or horseback riding. Hiking trails are at the end of the street and many more within a short drive (we provide local trail maps and books to help you find one). Diamond Notch Farms for horseback riding is within walking distance. Hunter, Windham, Belleayre, and Plattekill mountains are all nearby. There's also ice climbing available nearby, and festivals are held year-round at the ski mountains as well as in Woodstock. The towns of Phoenicia, Hunter, and Tannersville, with many good restaurants, are all very close.

However, it does require a little extra planning and an understanding of winter in the Hudson Valley. Between November and April, the weather can have its extremes and does not allow for running water as the pipes will freeze and crack. Unfortunately, even leaving bottled water often just ends up being blocks of ice and not useable for our guests. We simply ask guests to bring in water during their stay to ensure a safe useable water source. We also ask guests to bring proper clothes. The insulated cabin does reach comfortable temperatures, however, extreme cold snaps can make it necessary to bundle up and cuddle with your main squeeze. If you are open to a little adventure and a little planning, come and enjoy our little oasis! If you are looking for high end amenities with hot showers and instant heat on demand, this is probably not for you and we suggest trying our outdoor experiences in warmer months. This private romantic tiny Cabin set-up is situated in a little neighborhood surrounded by farmland. The one-of-a-kind Washburn Cabin is a huge step up from your typical camping experience. Set in a private little lot that makes you feel like you're in the woods yet you're just minutes from the best restaurants, shopping and quaint towns that the Hudson Valley has to offer. This getaway is perfect for those who are not convinced about camping in a tent just yet but are willing to test the waters in an actual cabin with windows, shades and a door! Nature is calling you but you'd rather sleep with the comfort of solid surroundings and air conditioning or heating. We get it! THIS is for you! So book your stay today....you will not regret it! When the temperatures drop, usually in November, we must turn off the water hose in order to preserve the hose and keep it from freezing. We provide water in 5 Gallon jugs for cleaning dishes and for personal hygiene. Please note, sometimes it gets so cold that the water freezes! During those times, we suggest bringing in water that you will use on a daily basis. You must bring in your own drinking water! We will provide you with a supply of paper plates, cups and plastic utensils! Water is typically turned back on in April. While we are located in a neighborhood, cell phone service can be spotty. We personally have not had any issues. We hope that once you arrive at the cabin, you’ll settle in and realize that disconnecting will help you reconnect to yourself! We offer limited wifi. Meaning, the signal may not be super strong but can help in getting you online to search the internet but may not be strong enough to stream. Disconnect....nature is calling. ***Please note our Strict Cancellation Policy. We strongly recommend that you purchase trip insurance for your reservation!! We have 40 acres with miles of trails through the property. It is located on the hudson valley wine trail so there are tons of wineries to access. We are in the mountains with great climbing, next to a state park. The campsite is on top of a massive boulder that looks out over the grounds with tons of wildlife surrounding. On a dead end road in the middle of the woods with no other houses within sight. ***PLEASE NOTE: BATHROOMS ARE CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. A little bit about us. This is a small campground. We do have one Glamping site as well as well as a super luxurious pool house available. We rent small retro RV's as well, see our other listings!! There are 40 acres here to explore with small streams, wetlands and forests. We have 4 modern brand new bathrooms with a hot showers in a beautiful new bathhouse with a charging station for phones and tablets. Its pretty amazing!!!!! We do have sulfur water, its great for your skin but smells! Each site usually has a 2 chairs, a table , a grill and a fire ring..... We also offer 3 vintage campers for a unique glamping experience. We have a 1984, a 1975 and a 1966 all with solar electric lighting. Running water is located at the camp store. Take a look at our listings or ask me. I'll tell you all about them. *Please note that use of the pool is available to guests of the pool house only. We also offer hiking excursions. Please book in advance. Our sites are in the middle of the 40 acres of beautiful undeveloped land to explore or just enjoy the quiet. There are no street lights to block the view of the night sky and the fire flies are something to see. We still have all the cool stuff like tons of restaurants, breweries, wineries & vineyards, and farms all around. Boulder Point Camping is centrally located among indoor and outdoor activities, great restaurants, local shops, and antiquing. We are close to loads of hiking trails, state parks, restaurants, creeks, swimming, fishing and more. Sam's Point, Ice Caves Mountain, and Minnewaska State Park just to name a few! In addition there are plenty of microbreweries, wineries, and farms where you can pick your fruit right off the tree (or vine) as the case may be. We are also a few minutes from Angry Orchard, Gardiner Brewing Company, and Baldwin Vineyards and many many others... Dogs welcome with an additional $20 fee. We can accommodate small vans, popups and RVs as well. Check in is at 3 pm Check out is a strict 12 pm unless prior arrangements have been made. We reserve the right to change your site number without notice. WE HAVE A STRICT 30 DAY CANCELLATION POLICY, TRYING TO MOVE YOUR DATES IS THE SAME AS A CANCELLATION AND TREATED THE SAME.

Majestic Farm & Organic Orchard

Majestic Farm is an Animal Welfare Approved, Biodynamic Organic Farm. We have 6 acres of Organic Apples in addition to pigs, chickens, peacocks and geese roaming the grounds. Ask about our Organic apples in the fall and pasture raised heritage meats available all year round. Majestic Farm is a safe place. We welcome all members of the community, and emphasize that we are safe space for BIPOC and for members of the LGBTQI community. All people are beautiful. Be sure to message us if you would like to purchase firewood, meats or apples. Each tiny house as a full sized mattress, you can also rent a full sized cot for $20. You can message, we will leave your items for contact free pick-up and you can pay cash or venmo us later. Please carry out what you carry in and leave it clean for the next group. We clean between all visitors - and are currently keeping quite a distance to protect you, the site and everybody involved. The property is a 5 minute drive to the hamlet of Mountaindalewhich has a lovely Rail Trail for hikes and bikes, and some excellent dining options including @ highvoltagecatskills, in addition to creek bar a magical cafe & bar with outdoor seating and fire pits that serves delicious modern Polish American comfort food, great cocktails, and has live music and events on weekends. There is also an artisan pizza spot with indoor/outdoor seating, hipster vibes and fun cocktails and live music @ thedaleNY For shopping you can also stop by @ forageandgather - they have foods, meats, gourmet deli and coffee and carry all the little things you may have forgotten to bring along in addition to a locally and craft focused wine and spirits shop. Also stop by @badgrandmashop for the most vibrant and stylish clothes for all sizes and styles. Not to be missed. There is also a lovely yoga studio and bollywood dance spot in addition to some other delightful gems in town. There is superb hiking nearby at Neversink Unique Area in Rock Hill. Also Bashakill trails (and conveniently a vineyard with tastings and events right nearby). Your'e also about 30 minutes away from super cute fun larger towns and attractions like New Paltz, Livingston Manor, and tons of incredible Catskill hiking and nature opportunities. NOTE! There's an excellent Farmers Market on Saturday's in Rock Hill from 10-1pm from June to September also. Come find us there! Overview

About 90 minutes north of New York City, this college town sits on the Wallkill River facing dramatic stone cliffs. New Paltz has a laid-back feel, with corner pubs and farmers markets to grab camping ingredients. The historic village is close to the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains, so it's easy to make day trips to both. Just 8 miles away, the Shawangunk Mountains loom on the horizon. Locals call them the Gunks. The Minnewaska State Park Preserve is here, offering hiking trails, waterfalls, and world-class rock-climbing. Bikes can explore the lovely carriage roads, and there's swimming at Lake Minnewaska. The Mohonk Preserve is a protected section of this same mountain ridge. The recently constructed Samuel F. Pryor III Shawangunk Gateway Campground is here. The tent-only campgrounds offer both walk-in and drive-in spots, plus a communal cooking area with a pavilion. New Paltz has about a half dozen private campgrounds within a short drive. Options range from RV parks with full hook-ups to private farms, rustic cabins, and outdoor resorts with swimming pools. Less than an hour's drive away, campers can pitch a tent at other large public parks. The 14,000-acre Fahnestock State Park is to the south. To the north is the Kenneth L. Wilson Campground near Slide Mountain, the Catskill's highest peak.
