At River Ranch Campgrounds, Tuolumne, CA we offer a wide range of activities to make your stay enjoyable. Take a hike on one of the many trails winding through the Stanislaus National Forest at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains, or cast a line in the North Fork of the Tuolumne River or Basin Creek for some great native fishing. After a long day of exploration, come back to the campgrounds and relax by the firepit or enjoy a picnic in one of our many picnic areas. Activities in the campground include horseshoes and volleyball. We pride ourselves on blending nature and family camping in a safe, serene environment. We offer water hookups and centrally located restrooms with heated showers to make your stay comfortable and convenient.

My 2nd time here
The owner made more campground areas this year. It’s a nice pull through spot. It has picnic table, faucet water, and fire pit. The first day and night was very close to another campers. It’s a bit too close to have good privacy. People are quiet and they did not disturbed another. River is pretty. I was surprised that tons of mosquitoes and I did not prepare for it. May is hot at daytime. I had to turn on AC at the trailer. We enjoyed quiet and relaxing time. Due to too many mosquitoes, I had to quickly took off in the morning.

Excellent campsite, very well maintained between gorgeous hills and with a creek for the kids. No complaints. The facilities are great and the pitches well spaced.

Love this gem of a campsite. Michelle was quick to respond to messages and suggested a spot for me right by the river. It was quiet and peaceful and exactly what I needed. I’ll definitely be back!!

This is a great spot! We were looking for a nice overnight retreat and this was more than we expected. Beautiful views, great camp host and wonderful over all service. We'll definitely be back!

I had a great time staying at the River Ranch Campgrounds! The valley is beautiful and it was so nice to go to sleep to the sounds of the river. Will be returning!
