Quiet and Private
I was in late and out early so didn’t require the amenities that were offered. Communication was good and the spot was quiet and private. Fresh fruit was offered, but I was already gone.

We loved our stay with Wilson. Everyone was so welcoming. We ran into traffic on the way and the hosts were so understanding. The site itself is very spacious and secluded. It is also very close to stores and restaurants if needed. Great location. We dropped our trailer for the day and went up to Big Bear which is only about 1hr from the site. It was perfect.

Second time I have stayed here. If you’re expecting something fabulous, this is not for you. However, the host has always been exceptionally gracious to us. They have a large field behind their house that I can run my dogs after being cooped up all day. Plus easy to find off of freeway.

Easy access off of freeway. Nice and quiet. Host
Greeted us, showed us where to park, and was polite. Will probably stay there again on our return trip.

Great little urban oasis!
We have a self-contained Vanagon camper and were looking for a nice, peaceful place to stay the night on our way down south to San Diego after a long day driving down the 395. We found that and a lot more in Wilson and Genie's "back acre" - formerly an orange grove in Loma Linda. They were awesome and welcoming hosts and their back acre - located behind their house was peaceful, open and green with fantastic views of the mountains above the urban skyline. The neighbourhood itself is also very peaceful. The hosts' backyard is full of trees - home to a variety of beautiful birds which adds to the relaxed experience, Wilson talked to us about the history of the former orange grove and showed us equipment they used in the past - very interesting!
There's plenty of space for your camper and there's a water faucet - very convinient. The welcome packet was in the form of delicious oranges and grapefruit from their garden! Genie was a super responsive host too - communicating really well with us.
Overall a fantastic experience and we'll certainly come back when we need a place to take a breather and rest. Thank you Wilson and Genie!
