The location was beautiful and we would definitely stay again once the outhouse is finished! Other reviews discussed issues with cellphone service but this was not a problem for us.

Fantastic stay
We booked Wolverine 1 and even though the host was at our site so we had to use another, it was a great stay. We were in a campervan and it was very easy to find and easy to get to. I recommend turning around right at the pull off so you can get down the trail going forward. We were the only people there and it was fantastic!

Not Private but Great Views
Overall, great experience and beautiful location. Site 2 lacked a fire ring (we built one) and there were no toilets as listed on the listing. I recommend spot #1 because it is right next to the river, compared to #2, which is not directly on the river but you have access to it.

Quiet and huge campsites! Great spot to book if you are looking to get away from crowded state parks. Loved being able to hear the river all night!

This site was easy to pull in and out of (23LDE Grand Design). If coming from Palmer, there is a pull off just past the entrance that I would recommend turning around at. That made getting in and out pretty simple.
We loved the area - lots of river bank to walk and some areas that were safe enough to cross. There was some road noise - but nothing that some music couldn’t drown out. Overall, recommend - will be booking again!
