Plantation ( Site 1A)
Private, quiet, highly recommended!
This site was amazing! It was private and quiet, and had very few bugs, considering it’s located in a wooded area. The site is very well-maintained and although we arrived after 9:30 PM, our host was accommodating and even checked in to make sure we found the place OK. The directions on Hipcamp are spot on and when you arrive there are two wooden posts leading into the site which are easy to see. Because we arrived late at night, we didn’t get to venture down to the even more private space with the picnic table and a fire pit so we just used the space closest to the road but we look forward to trying the lower campground next time we’re around. Our dogs loved to be off leash and we were able to run our generator knowing we weren’t going to bother anyone as we had the place all to ourselves. We will 100% be camping here again! Although this is a new site to Hipcamp. This host really knows what he’s doing and I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a private space for the evening or weekend.
