We purchased this farm in 1998 from the previous farmer who had owned it since 1929. The train line ran right by the gate where the Kota hut now sits and would drop cattle right there to be finished and sold later at the Toronto Stockyards. Our barn was built in 1890 with the old farmhouse located across the creek. Two creeks meet the Grand River on our farm. The bunkie is situated north of the barn and faces Willow creek. During the summer the creek gets quite shallow but there are a couple of pools that work nicely for a float with our river tubes. The river also has a small swimming hole. The bunkie is nestled between 2 hills which creates a natural little valley. Campers can take a walk around the property or use the nearby long walking trail. New this spring, campers will be able to enjoy the firewood sauna, located close to the bunkie and nestled in a private spot near the creek.Welcome to Camp Willowbrook! Our bunkie, The Bighorn is nestled between 2 hills just north of the barn and faces Willow creek. The hills create a perfect little valley, completely private and secluded with only a century old barn to silhouette the landscape. During the summer the creek gets quite shallow but there are a couple of pools that work nicely for a float with our river tubes. The nearby river also has a small swimming hole if you are looking to cool off. You can take a walk around the property or use the nearby long walking trail which can take you right to Grand Valley or all the way to Author if you are adventurous. You can spend a relaxing evening in the sauna, then cool yourself off in the creek or use our soaking trough. Join us for an evening meal or just enjoy the fire in our Kota Hut. You can bike or hike into Grand Valley where there are restaurants, a grocery store, and a liquor store! Only 3-4 kilometers away! Access to hiking trails and Belwood Lake 10-15 minute drive. Luther Marsh is also close by for nature enthusiasts. Orangeville is also about 15-20 minutes away for all of your camping needs! Please bring your own linens!

Country Cabin on the Creek

Lovely getaway close to home

I rented this little cabin to get some writing and reading done, as well as, have a little escape from the city. It’s such a lovely property with lots of nature around. It did get chilly at night - so definitely grab some of the firewood for sale, or, bring a sleeping bag. Angie was also very friendly and the dogs were as well :)

Amazing!

Very welcoming and cozy little cabin! My friends and I booked this hipcamp for Trout opener 2024. Angie, her brother, and the dogs were amazing hosts and the property was beautiful! Lot’s of land to roam around and animals to admire at their farm. The cabin had all the appliances we needed and Angie made sure that my friends and I were all set for the weekend. Communication was excellent, my friends and I will 100% come back

Country Cabin on the Creek

A wonderful little cabin with ALL the fun things!! The cabin is lovely and comes with a little wood stove and great comfortable bed. It’s decorated so cute and has a little outdoor kitchen steps away complete with everything. But the best part which you MUST book, are the tub&sauna!! This was so great, perfect on a cool windy rainy weekend. Also bring some treats for the cutest cows and friendly horses. Kono the dog is sweet and silly, loved having him come check on me!

October Weekend

We had an amazing stay here this past weekend! We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna in the afternoon and the kota hut for a steak dinner! Angie, Bob and Shane were amazing hosts. The wood stove in the cabin was great for the colder night. We plan on coming back to enjoy again next year!
